And it ends...
My standings was a decent 6W - 3L, 0 Draws: the fact that I only had a main team of Earth cards in my collection, I was able to pull off a decent first brawl run.

Our guild finished 3rd overall, behind 2 guild which I believe had waaaay much powered collections over ours. The fact that we belong to the same level as their guilds are makes it more intense.

At this point, I'd like to introduce my segment of the blog called "Winners and Losers". Today, I'll focus on the winners and the losers of our first guild brawl experience:

*Time - Yes, the whole ordeal took us 96 hours of waiting and grinding of teeth before the whole thing was over. Day 1 was eventful, but Day 2 was a mere shell of the enthusiasm that got us going in the 1st day.

WINNERS - Players who play casual and do have other things to do in real life (like, a day job lol)
LOSERS - Those who were very much eager to play and be part of the brawl experience then realizing that they won't be able to witness it since it won't be real time

*Collection - I have experienced first hand when you have a whale within your Frey (your selected area/arena to do brawls) and you only have a specific set of cards you field. All hell breaks loose when you see that there are conditions in each battle, made worse by the fact that you will be playing in enemy teritory (draws will always be in favor of the home team).

WINNERS - Players who have a good collection or WHALES (lol) for the reason that they have complete advantage to composition flexibility especially in matches where there are so little to work on/around with.
LOSERS - F2P or starting newbies who just joined a guild will experience tremendous shock with regards to facing opponents who seem to have the same league, but has like over 100k power.

*Community - Yes, this brawl really showed me that there are real people in those accounts in our guild. Having to see them give their inputs, rant about their Frey opponents, and even discuss, suggest and debate on future plans of the guild makes me feel good that I am playing a game that does have an evolving community.

WINNERS - the Guilds. Yep. There is social interaction within the guild, much better than in the public chat where you see a lot of spammed messages of people looking for a guild.
LOSERS - I'm so sorry, but for those who don't have a guild yet? Better find one FAST!

That's about it. For me, it was indeed a fun experience. If only the devs can shorten the preparation stage to around 24 hours, that will make it much better personally.

Until next time, Cheers!
