dec, sps, fio oh my! — getting my lust for hive life back now that we have alternatives with inji.

i’ve got my lust for longer form and shorter form writing back, freaking awesome. it’s been a long time coming but switching from survival mode to optimisation mode has been an absolutely boon!

at first i thought it was the recent haircut but i think it’s going much deeper than that. when your in survival mode you are like one of those horses that has blinkers on that just keeps pulling whatever is behind them, heavy often as she goes — loaded down, but grinding and toiling all the same.

with optimisation it’s how can i get the most from this, how can i adapt that to this, how can i make this work and remove what i don’t enjoy. the last month has been a pre-cursor to it all and i’m glad to notice the change.

Many times you can have months just blur into one and wake up on the other side of a quarter but with Q1 coming up before a lull and more storming years ahead, it’s good to be meerkat about digital operations and make sure to a certain degree your present and correct.

i’ve rediscovered splinterlands all over again - excited about this new sps (even if sold a bunch not realising i need it to buy more cards, doh!) and i’ve started to re-invest in cards for the new releases that are coming out next month. I never released a few things about that game even thou i’m not a player but the more i’m messing around with nft and the metaverse the more i realise it’s about digital properties and assets that can make you passive ROI, so cool!

. ..and also i’ve been looking at the new frontend called @inji which is just really nice, like almost microblogging and very up to date styling, you can tell some work has gone into the ui/ux of it all, i had to subscribe for the next three months and get the plus features because it was so neat looking.

This in turn got me looking back at FIO, i do like some of the ETH offerings for domain lookup for connecting crypto accounts to one address but i think i like the way FIO does things better and it’s fully supported already as a profile item on @inji so it’s a no brainer - i’m using edge wallet for that and will be setting that all up really soon.

fantastic to see that NFT’s outta the gate are supported as well, i can see my opensea stuff and obviously the nftshowroom so that’s probably going to get me buying more stuff over there because i’l want to gloat about it obviously! — i’d love to share on twitter and use the integration automatically but for me right now it want’s far too many controls of my twitter (maybe if that was dialled back a bit i’d use it)

Also, i had a few viewport issues on my laptop but i installed a quick tray bar tool for changing the screen resolution and i can see the button now but i hope that get’s fixed in the next UI pass, i’ve already got my plus package which for the $4.99 for the three months is a good deal i think and i’m happy to support new frontends to this blockchain even if i still love @ecency ;)
