Splinterlands card purchases did not deliever as promised.

Today I would like to share some of my experiences with the Cardauctionz platform in the goal of raising awareness as well as preventing any one else that is planning to buy cards using this platform to have unpleasant experiences like me and others who already did.

A quick introduction for someone who are not familiar with cardauctionz, it is a platform that provide cashbacks for splinterlands card purchases, here are the description from their website:

As you can see, the core service provided by Cardauctionz is the "deepest splinterlands market discount". However, after making a purchase using the platform, I found out that it did not deliver the service as it promised because there is no cashback rewards at all.

At this point it might be bug or some unknown issue, so I did not conclude anything but took an initiative to look into deeper about this platform, there is a discord link in the Cardauctionz page, so I clicked into it and guess what, I found out I wasn't the only one having this problem. There were much more buyers experiencing the same issues for a week but the issue has not yet be solved.

Furthermore, when I scroll through the history I found out that there were issues with the amount of DEC received could be far less than what was estimated ( you should get about 3.1% instead of 3.25% because the developer wants to ensure that the transaction goes through but sometimes from the complaints I see you only get around 2%) and you have to address the issue to support to get it solved. Although the missing DEC will be covered manually afterwards but the work for checking the amount and also occasionally have to address the issue could be hustle in long term if you are buying cards often.

So in a nutshell, I don't really recommend to purchase cards for discount with this platform because the developer is not reachable and also the false amount issue occur often.

And the solution for that are using the alternative platform such as @peakmonsters and @monstermarket.

account and access lot of cool features and tools in peakmonsters.

Monstermarket also provide cashback services in DEC but at slightly lower rate which is 3% (60% from their revenue which is 5% of the fee we paid) but they had less frequency of technical issue like Cardauctionz and also more importantly, they keep you updated of what's going on. By looking at their discord announcement and also did some chat history search about "cashback" so far they only have missed cashback which will be compensated in the weekend automatically, the false amount issue only mentioned one time and got settled in dm so I have no idea about the details. It could be miscalculation because of insufficient resources credits when buying cards but overall the frequency is far less compare to Cardauctionz. Giving out the 0.1% cashback rewards for better services and less hustle are still worth in my opinion.
