An Inexpensive Counter to Llama / Kron matchup in Silver League. Venari Heatsmith!
Do you hate seeing a Llama / Kron deck and throw up your hands at that expensive combo that will rip apart virtually any lineup. For 17 mana that combo has killed me more times than I care to admit and I had no counter... Until today!
The Lowly Venari Heatsmith.
(first attempt at adding image hope it works)
For only 3 Power you can drop him on the field and his armor will take the brunt of Krons magic attack.
Then add another lowly card.
The Flame Monkey Lv 5 -- for only one power.
His repair ability will make sure that the Heatsmith can absorb a magic attack again and again.
Fill out the rest of the line with summoner : Malric Inferno for the plus +1 attack
and a bunch of cheap sneakers/opportunists like:
Kobold Miner (1+1 attack) 2 Power
Serpentine Spy (2+1 attack) 3 Power
Elven Cutthroat (2+1 attack) 3 Power
and a Battering Ram (1+1 attack) 2 Power
And for only 17 Power--the same as Llama / Kron you can absorb the magic attack repeatedly and dish out up to 10 damage per round to overwhelm Kron's regeneration.
