I love Splinterlands...so I'm selling almost everything

I love Splinterlands. I love the competitive cardgame aspect. I love the play to earn aspect. I love that it has a real life marketplace with it. Long live Splinterlands.

So why am I selling everything?

I want to buy the game, not the hype!

Vouchers--Overpriced
SPS--Overpriced
DEC--Overpriced
Cards--Overpriced

Why?

Dec is designed to be roughly one penny. Right now they are 30-40% more than that.

Cards should be roughly equal to their DEC value plus a premium based on how useful they are in gameplay. Right now even terrible cards are valued at 2-3x their DEC value.

Vouchers let you buy a card pack. The pack is worth $2 and the burn value of the cards most of the time will be equal to about 40
DEC with the chance you get something very valuable. Still paying $15 for a voucher to buy a $2 pack is insane.

SPS are an excellent buy going forward. What an awesome chance to have a say in the direction of the game. However, 3 billion will be printed and they are selling for almost a dollar each. Is Splintershards a $3 billion dollar game? I certainly hope so, but with its current userbase I don't think its quite there yet.

Why the huge prices? Everyone wants the next set. Everyone wants a part of the action. Everyone wants exclusive pre-sale promo cards or exclusive bragging rights cards like this one from the past :

Shin-lo

But as someone who loves the game and its promise for the future I'm selling now and will buy cards, DEC, SPS and maybe even vouchers when all the craziness dies down.

Happy hunting everyone.
