Hive always finds new ways to frustrate me! Splinterlands Investment Day 29
Sometimes I think HIVE is just trying to find new ways to screw with me and having a giant laugh at my frustration. EDIT: Engine support took care of it within 24 hours. Good Job!!

After a rough time yesterday doing way too many battles to get my daily quest done I thought to myself "self--I should take out some DEC and treat myself to a DQ Blizzard".
Then the Hive Engine told me... "No Blizzard for you today"
What happened? Well it all started with a simple swap request.

.
.
.
I've done it dozens of times. Just move my DEC from Splinterlands to the HIVE engine and swap for BTC then withdrawl to crypto.com so I can buy my Blizzard with crypto.
Tastes so good when you get that Ice Cream from winning a game or two :)
I'm waiting for the BTC to arrive and then... Swap Request -- Failed !
.
.
.

.
.
.
Seriously? WTF?
.
.
Guess I have to go to the DSwap website. Never been there before so I head over there and after using my Hive credentials I get a very nice website which tells me--
.
.

.
.
Well. I already knew it failed but what happened? So, into the details:
.
.

.
.
Failure to transfer to destination account?? How does that happen.
.
.
Time to dig deeper. Four transactions happened.
ONE: Validation -- Confirmed

TWO: Convert to Hive -- Success

THREE: Convert Hive to Swap_BTC -- Success

FOUR: Move the BTC to my account -- FAIL

But...but....but.... Why???
So, I grumble and complain to myself and decide to take some of my Hive tokens and use the exchange to switch them to BTC the slower way with manual order entry. I enter my buy order click buy and...
.
.
.
Failed! Not enough RESOUCRE CREDITS
#ARRGGHHH!!!
I'm not losing to HIVE! I go to my other account delegate some resource credits. I head back, switch those HIVE to BTC and I'm ready to withdraw those coins. Ready to get my BLIZZARD! ...and then. Minimum withdrawl is 0.05 BTC. I think of some choice word I want to scream, take a moment for composure, then sell the BTC, get the HIVE, convert to EOS and withdraw the funds.
Moral of this story:
WATCH your RESOURCE CREDITS. If you run out the HIVE network will treat you poorly and make your life miserable. Please don't make the same mistake I did!

And Today's Investment Update:

Now for some #Pizza with that blizzard or perhaps I can get the #1UP on Hive next time. ;) Gotta love those promo coins
