Is Splintertalk a new guilds secret weapon?

I just joined another guild.

OurGuild.jpg

It has its full complement of members and all of us are pretty low level. Not a single member in the Million Power club to be seen and all the buildings have yet to be built.

As we have so far to go in teams of learning about new members, getting donations from members, determing who is active and who vanished I'm wondering if Splintertalk is a very useful tool to get the guild involved. Every member paid for a spellbook which gives the power to post on Splintertalk, why not use that power?

Just imagine for a moment.

Suppose every member writes one post per day and upvotes and comments on each other members post. It's not that hard to write a short post even if its just your favorite battle of the day, a hated card combo, a great rewards...whatever. Even easier to click the like button and send a quick...'enjoyed your post' or 'awesome battle'

If each member did that I think a few positive things would happen:

  1. Every member would get a minimum of 1 SPT token daily from posting
  2. Every member would see likes from their guild family and feel involved in a group.
  3. All the likes and upvotes would earn members more SPT over time (assuming the SPT is staked)
  4. The guild leader and other members would know very quickly who was active and who wasn't

All seems like a great idea to me.

So is Splintertalk a new guild's secret weapon?

yeah we have to figure out who is active enough and who is gonna leave ;) but it is a great idea! I'll follow you. my voting power is still 0 because it's less than 7 days ago since my first post and thus I have no SPT yet.

Getting SPS from an upvote is nice. However, just knowing someone is looking at your post, is active, and cares about working the game makes all the difference to me.

Thanks for following and I'll see if I can't upvote your posts too :D
