Splinterlands Investment : Day 17. Don't put money into the SPS:DEC liquidity pool! Plus today's purchases

After purchasing one epic card at level 2 I figured I'd get a set of the Chaos league epic rewards levelled up to bronze. So, now I have all of them in common/rare as gold foil and regular for the epics. Next up: The legendaries! Side note: Also bought a lvl 2 Bortus as my first summoner.
Today I looked at my position in the SPS:DEC liquidity pool and just couldn't leave it there. The SPS that was sitting in the pool and not staked didn't give me any SPS staking return and no Splinterlands voucher. Yes both the SPS and DEC counted towards my airdrop which was nice but it wasn't enough to make up for the loss. As such the coins as now sitting in my game account and not the liquidity pool. I didn't even notice any BEE show up in my account although some LEO did .. but not enough to warrant keeping the coins in a liquidity pool.

I'm stacking up on'CL reward cards as well. Lava Launcher at level 4 and as I can't play him at the moment, I rent him out for between 20-60 DEC (at the end of the season, the prices explode).
It's a funny one that DEC SPS pool - On the one hand it's not a bad hedge.... as either token is good to end up with, but for max returns you want to be pooling yer dec with Hive and staking the SPS, at least staking it for now.
Although I'll probably start keeping enough liquid to pool with my liquid DEC when I run out of Hive to pool it with.
