Murtuvas A Podridão Escarlate

Story

Murtuvas created a bridge that emanated pure rot between the four portals, Velidras with the help of the other Gods moved the barrier of light, separating each of the Akronios and launching towards the portals, Draxanus used his dimensional cut to seal the portals, Vulcaus, Ocenus and Elfenas used the small colored drops they collected to hit the seal, weakening the opening, preventing any of them from escaping.

As a last breath, the Akronios tried to break the seal before the portal could be closed, even after being weakened, the strength that remained was enough to destroy the Elemental Gods, but Vulcaus realized the Akronios' intention, and before they could attack, a thunderous blast of fire was launched towards the portals, but that blast cost him his left arm, which made it impossible for him to use his power.

Murtuvas The Scarlet Rot

Murtuvas is a mysterious Goddess, her personality was still difficult to understand, despite showing to be similar to Velidras, her true intentions were a mystery to the Elemental Gods.

Before the big battle happened, Murtuvas lived secluded in his dark castle, rarely interacting with the other Gods, Velidras was the only one who tried to get close to know what their intentions were.

After Velidras visited Murtuvas in his Castle, his personality became even worse than before, Murtuvas' true intention was revealed that day when she used one of her potions to bewitch Velidras, to induce discord among the Elemental Gods.

When the Elemental Gods began to battle each other, Murtuvas felt a strange presence in another dimension after stealing Draxanus' dimensional essence, and it was at this moment that she saw one of the Cursys, a humanoid creature covered in black flame, unlike the other Cursys, this one had an abnormal intelligence, his power allowed him to use powerful magics.

The Cursys seemed to know about Murtuvas' true nature, proposing a deal that caught Murtuvas' attention, the deal would be to release the Akronios into their world, in exchange for a place to create their own kingdom.

But she declined the offer, and then cast a containment spell, managing to capture the Cursys to carry out her experiments, but this was all planned by the Cursys in order to open a dimensional rift, controlled by the power of Draxanus.

The rot that her containment magic emanated was enough to terrify the other Gods centuries before they were all gathered in Splinterlands, her magic earning her a title before the great battle could begin, The Scarlet Rot.

Unaware of Cursys' real intention, Murtuvas headed towards the battle to take advantage of the other Gods' fatigue, but Vulcaus was the only one free from his spells, who then left towards Murtuvas, ignoring Velidras' obsession.

Before they could battle, Velidras returned to continue the battle with Vulcaus, but was stopped when the dimensional rift opened, sparking the great battle against the Akronios.

Battle Summary

First Battle

In this first battle, I chose Zintar Mortalis as summoner (Reduces Melee attack by one) because of the first rule, Super Sneak (All melee attackers gain the Sneak ability), and as the second rule, Broken Arrows (Ranged attackers do not can be used) is active, this summoner was the best choice when analyzing my opponent's previous battles, with that, my choice for tank was the Haunted Spirit that has the ability Heal (Recovers an amount of health per round), being able to restore your health to resist the enemy tank then I chose Life Sapper with a good amount of magic attack, also his Life Leech skill (Adds a portion of health based on your damage) would be useful if my tank was defeated, and to avoid any magic attacker I chose the Necrosi Magi who could easily wipe out any magic damage with its Snipe skill (Seals Ranged, Magic or No-Attack attackers in any position) and its other skill Camouflage age (Can only be attacked in first position) which makes it immune to any Sneak, Opportunity and Snipe. The next one was thinking about reducing my opponent's Melee attack to the maximum, the Fallen Specter that despite its low health, its speed in conjunction with its Flying skill (Adds chances to dodge physical attacks) offers you a protection, in addition , his Demoralize skill (Reduces Melee attack by one) would have a positive effect against the opposing composition, which brings me to the next choice, the Skeleton Assassin, despite having the Sneak skill, for this battle it made no difference, but his speed would give me a bigger advantage, and lastly, Cursed Windeku was the most effective choice because of its Thorns ability (Returns damage when being attacked by a Melee) and the first rule, directing all attack to it.

Second Battle

In this second battle, I chose Contessa L'ament (Reduces Ranged attacks by one) as summoner because it is the most effective, the reason was the Back to Basics rule (All cards lose abilities) that makes Melee attackers a bad choice in the back line, leaving only ranged attackers and magicians, but the Cursed Windeku was a good choice for tank, with a low map cost and high stats, the battle would be more favorable, so my back line could be effective, with that, my composition starts with the Life Sapper that has magic damage and a low mana cost, then my next choices focused on Ranged with a low mana cost and a good source of added damage, the Undead Archer, Weirding Warrior and the Soul Strangler.

Third Battle

In this third battle, the Zintar Mortalis was chosen once again to reduce the damage of Melee attackers, but the first rule Noxious Fumes (All cards start with Poison) could be a problem, in addition, the second rule Lost Magic (Magical attackers do not can be used) prevented other options that could be effective against my composition, with that, my choice for tank was Harklaw that has the Shield ability (Reduces damage received from physical attackers) that would be effective against any card and also, his second self-explanatory skill Immunity (Immune to any negative stats) would give me a much bigger advantage, and as a second option for tanking if Harklaw was defeated, I chose Haunted Spirit which could heal the damage taken by Poison with its Heal skill, and finally, the Twisted Jester was chosen to attack Ranged that could affect my tank with its Snipe ability.

Fourth Battle

In this fourth battle, the low mana cost would be essential to build an efficient composition, so I chose once again Zintar Mortalis as a summoner to reduce the damage of Melee attackers, but the first rule Reverse Speed (Cards that attack the lowest speed first) could be a problem in conjunction with the second Little League rule (Only cards that cost four mana can be used), my options were limited, so my tank for this battle was the Crypt Beetle, despite having low stats, its Shield skill could be effective against physical attackers, then I chose the Undead Priest that has magic damage, in addition, its Weaken skill (Reduces the health of all cards) could give me an advantage because it is a low cost battle mana, then I chose Life Sapper, despite its speed being high for this battle, its magic damage and skill could be advantageous to me, and lastly, I chose Fallen Specte r was not a good choice for this battle, but his skill could be very useful if there is a high amount of Melee damage.

Fifth Battle

In this last battle, I chose Zintar Mortalis once again after I analyzed my opponent's previous battles, for often using the summoner Malric Inferno, in addition to the Spreading Fury rules (All cards gain the Enrage ability when attacked) and the Even Stevens (Only cards with the same mana cost can be used) made me choose Cursed Windeku as a tank because of its ability and low mana cost, then I chose once again the Fallen Specter which would be very effective in this battle, and lastly, I chose Undead Archer, the reason was when I analyzed my opponent's previous battles, Cerberus was used often, to prevent his Heal skill from healing him, the Affliction skill (Chance to apply affliction, preventing him from use healing abilities) could make this healing impossible.

Hope you like it, see you next time!
