Prediction for Cody Rhodes next opponent... It's not Roman Yet
Yep, last week in Friday Night Smackdown we didn't see Roman Live but we still saw him because he made one of the greatest promos of all time. It was not just a promo, it was complete Netflix level Cinema.
In his promo dialog with Cody Rhodes in an empty Atlanta football field, which apparently was the same field Roman played football, he made it clear that he'll team up with Cody to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood. However he told Cody that after he's done, he's coming back for what belongs to him which is the Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight title.
So we are going to see another Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns main event match but it's not going to be an immediate thing. Cody's next singles match opponent or Challenger is not Roman Reigns.
I think it's going to be Kevin Owens. Yes they have already had their match and Cody defeated Kevin owens but did you see the look in Kevin's face after that match and have you seen his behavior of late. It sure as hell doesn't look like Kevin's happy or finished and he's been acting weird lately.
Kevin Owens is one inch away from turning heel and betraying Cody Rhodes. Kevin Owens hasn't had a singles title in years like I mentioned in my previous blog so losing this shot at undisputed title really got to him.
I think at Royal Rumble this year we might have Cody and Kevin Owens part two but this time with a lot more Bad Blood between the two.
The reason is simple, Roman and Cody will face Solo and Fatu at Bad Blood. Afterwards we'll have Survivors Series which looks like the perfect stage for Bloodline civil war between Roman and his bloodline against Solo and his bloodline. At that time, Cody the Undisputed champion of smackdown will go head to head for the first time against Gunther the World Heavyweight champion of RAW to prove who the best champion will be.

So right after that perhaps we might have Royal Rumble and road to WrestleMania 41. At the Royal Rumble, we might see Kevin Owens who probably already turns on Cody fight Cody again for one last shot at the Undisputed title.
It's just prediction though but it sounds perfect to me
