That's exactly the experience I had, honestly, and I'm glad it's not just me. I was actually gifted a spellbook and a small selection of better cards... even after investing some of my own money on a few more strong cards to fill gaps, I was still struggling to get wins.
It's discouraging because people seem to really enjoy #Splinterlands, and I don't hear other people having the same level of difficulty.

Yep, i guess we've all experienced that sort of thing - but it's still a pretty promising game that deserves some more attention. I honestly love that there is still work being done to improve this particular type of game.
However, i commented in the section of your opinion, because i have a newbie question about this game. I am asking you because you have tried the game and maybe you will enlighten me a little.
For example, a long time ago, when i purchased that Spellbook, a new Hive account was generated for me - over time, that aspect made me stop playing it because i'm not really the type of person who enjoy having too many accounts. Maybe I made a mistake somewhere when that new account was generated for me - I honestly don't know!! I'm curious if something like this has happened to you!? When I was given the Spellbook, I was also given a separate account... so it sounds like that is the usual thing. It does seem strange in your case though. You purchased it with this existing Hive account using HBD?
Yes,😊 i made the purchase from this primary account - the app then asked me to fill in an email address and then simply gave me a set of private keys for a new Hive account. Anyway, i still have my private keys for that account - but the reality is that after a short period i decided to sell all the cards from that account and of course at the same time i gave up using that account. Well, after all it's not that weird⚡ - I was just curious what other players 👀🕊️experienced after the time of purchasing that starter pack. Thanks... !PGM !LOOLZ !PIZZA !CTP
