Todays Update - Day 6

I had a death quest today. To be honest, I'm surprised at how well it went. I played a total of nine games today, winning six and losing three, granted, one of those wins was due to my opponent surrendering before I could even select my splinter, but in my books, I'll count it as a win. If the game counts it, then so can I, right? I even set a new win streak today. I am now sitting at a total of eighteen credits since I received six as a reward in my daily quest.

I still haven't won anything from raffles entered on this site, and at this point can say that I am unlikely to unless I enter some new ones; however, that is not to say I haven't won anything at all. I was on Twitch last night checking out some new creators, for me at least. I ended up following a creator known as loosemcgoose, watching their stream for a fair while before it got a bit too late for me to be awake. I did miss most of the Splinterlands content due to when I joined the stream, but what I was there for was enjoyable to watch and there was plenty of viewer interaction. During the stream, I won a game of marbles. This let me take a spin on a prize wheel, where I won three SPS. My Twitch account is in a different name, which I won't be changing to the-ascendant; however, in my opinion, it fits within the criteria of the challenge as it is a valid community resource and I did not feel as though there was a need to create a whole new Twitch account.

If you’re interested in checking loosemcgoose out, you can find their twitch here. You can also find them on PeakD at @loosestgoose. By the way, loosemcgoose, if you want me to remove the reference to you in this post, feel free to let me know via comment and I'll do so as soon as I can, though I might need some RC to build back up.

I would like to briefly discuss SPS. I've decided that I will be taking it all moving forwards, at least for the foreseeable future. I did not expect to win some in a giveaway so I did not have a spot for SPS gains via giveaways on my tracking table below. This oversight has been corrected. For the sake of saving space, I've abbreviated S.L Faucet Gain to S.L.F. Gain. I'll make a note of this above the table so things are clear in the future. Despite adding the new column to the table, it has become too crowded. In addition, the Total Assets table will include all SPS possessed, regardless of whether it is staked. In fact, it is reasonable would assume that any SPS I have listed is staked, unless I indicate otherwise. As an FYI, The $ value reflects the value at the time of posting.

In regards to the Splinter Labs faucet, I've finally got around to withdrawing my DEC earned from it into my Splinterlands account. In addition, I gained a little bit more SPS since my initial withdrawal a couple of days ago, so I had that sent to my account as well. For those that have been following my daily postings and saw me add an SPS table when I first received SPS, you will likely be unsurprised to hear that I added a table in for DEC gains. This table will follow the same format as the SPS table and new categories can be added if needed. Rather than indicate how much DEC was gained from each type of asset (for example SPT, POB or Archon), I've made a catch-all category named blog posts. This way the table can be a reasonable size. The plan is to sell these assets in the Hive Engine to convert them to swap hive, before using that to purchase DEC which will be sent to my account. If you would like I can include this data in a separate table to indicate the value of each asset in DEC, but I feel that this is unneeded and presents information that adds minimal value to these posts. Let me know below what you guys think on the matter. I get my first payout from posting in two days, so if I don't get any feedback, assume that I will be leaving this information out of these posts moving forwards. Once this information has been left out, I likely won't be able to add it in as tracking down the specific information could prove difficult. My preference is to not worry about tracking this information, but if there is a large desire for it to be included, I will do so.

I also created a table that tracks the total DEC gained over time, the total DEC spent on Cards and the current total DEC. On the chance, I ever join a guild I'll add in donation information as well. Likely I would merge it with the category tracking DEC spent on cards; however, that is a problem for another day, one that is far into the future.

I withdrew a total of 72.836 DEC from the faucet. I used this to purchase cards on Monster Market to receive a slight DEC refund per card. This effectively reduces the DEC I spend and allows me to save towards another card. Seeing as each card I acquire adds a certain amount of CP to my total, I decided to add yet another table (hopefully the last) to track where my CP came from and how much each source has provided. I used the DEC gained from the faucet to purchase a Pelacor Deceiver, a Gargoya Lion, a Venari Heatsmith, a Pelacor Mercenary, a Pelacor Bandit, a Pelacor Conjuror, and a Hardy Stonefish. These seven new cards provided me with 35 more CP and costed a total of 72.139 DEC. I received a total refund of 2.163 DEC from Monster Market.

Final update tonight, I've rearranged my tables slightly. I switched the Win Rates and the SPS Tracking tables. This way the Win Rates table should not get buried amongst the larger tables.

This has been my longest post yet. Hopefully, not too long, but if you just want to look at the tables and ignore the written portion, that's ok. This post contains a total of 1321 amount of words. Until tomorrow everyone.
