Everything is going to change soon as Chaos summoners will no longer be in Modern. Then to use them you need a wild pass. I enjoy the game but the player base has gotten smaller and smaller. I just don't foresee SPS staying up very long once the excitement of the new packs passes by. I'm not buying into any of the new packs either, I've invested too much in the game in the past.

Unless they can somehow increase the player base and excitement I think SPS may be near it's max for any time in the foreseeable future.

It almost seems like you and I have had the same experience in Splinterlands. I bought a lot of cards in the past and now I can't use 80% of them anymore. I only have fun playing in Modern, but at this point the situation is not the best in my opinion either. From some articles it seems that the presale of the latest series of cards went well, but I have the feeling that there are few who have bought many packs. This is just my personal opinion though. I also have fun with this game, but I have to start spending less, since as time goes by, I always see the possibility of using my cards in the modern section decreasing !BBH

I here you there! I've sold a fair amount of SPS too when things have peaked. I understand the pre-sale didn't sell all that many except to some of the whales which I am not! So the sales numbers may have been skewed by big buyers. We will soon see for sure!

I'm hoping for the best, but am prepared for the worst shall we say!

Thanks for this exchange of opinions. Usually I find users who always speak very well of Splinterlands, and I can understand it because it is a very fun game, so finding someone who speaks rationally about it is not easy. Today, May 11, 2025, the SPS token is worth $0.012 and we are at almost +20% in 7 days, but we are at -98% from its maximum which was $0.84. Having said that, it is also fair to say that blockchain game tokens for now have almost all followed the trend of the SPS !LOLZ
