Fight review #2!

avatar

Hey again!
As promised, this is today's fight against one of the more annoying cards in lower ranks, Mylor Crowling!
I usually try to play a water based team against Mylor to focus fire the tank with Axe Master and Water Elemental but due to my opponent having lvl'd up cards which makes it riskier so I went with a f2p approach to limit test and here is the result!

This is the team I decided to go with, Serpantine Mystic is a super cheap very effective card. As always, positioning is key, that's why Fire Elemental is in the middle in the safest possible spot since it's the most important unit while Serpantine Mystic is a Sneak bait and Fire Beatle is a snipe bait, although in hindsight I should've swapped their positions in case my opponent decided to play Goblin Thief and Goblin Sorcerer since Serpantine mystic is more important in this strat than Fire Beetle.

This is how the fight progressed

As you can see, Serpantine Mystic failed to apply Affliction at first but this is where Ooze shines, the fact that Serpantine had the same speed as Wood nymph made him attack first the second round and apply Affliction before she could heal, and in the end, this was the result.

As you can see, all you need is just a few smart picks and sometimes some good ol' RNG. In the end, everything is beatable, you just need to have the presence of mind to think on the fly and use the resources that you have on hand, sometimes it wont work, and that's fine, as long as you take it as a learning experience to learn from it what went wrong and what you can change the next time, coz there will always be a next time.

Hope you enjoyed today's fight and see you again tomorrow with another one, until then, happy grinding!
