Fight review #5! Yodin Zaku again.....

I know right? You'd think one RNG fest with Yodin Zaku is enough stress for one lifetime but here we are again, another day another Yodin and another attempt to make it to the other side with the least amount of bruises.

Team Lineup and Positioning

The Battle

As you can see, the concept was the same as my last post, Brighton Bloom as the summoner with snipe baits and punching bags to take the hits. Since melee units were banned, I felt safe using Naga Windmaster, and of course Axe Master is one of the best heavy hitters you can get.

At first my positioning may seem weird, putting Naga Windmaster in the safest spot, since no melees so no sneak to kill it, and putting my Axe Master in harms way. My reasoning was, in any normal situation, Naga Windmaster would've died before the first round even ended, which would've been a sure loss, this positioning however gave me a fighting chance as long as he misses once, which wasn't much to ask for considering Kelp Initiate had 45% - 55% dodge chance, the important thing was Naga Windmaster needed to survive.

The Fight

Lord of Fire missed a hit on Kelp Initiate and this is how the fight looked at the beginning of round 2. Might seem like a bad position but it's actually a super good position to be in, Axe Master is going to kill Goblin Shaman which pulls Fire Demon to the first position and removes the Weaken debuff which gives Kelp Initiate a very much needed 1 HP back.

Lord of Fire missed one of his two hits on Kelp Initiate, which in hindsight wouldn't really have mattered anyway since Naga Windmaster would've had enough time to kill Fire Demon, and from that point it's just cleanup.

Conclusion

My thoughts going into this was once again to just have a good team with smart positioning and a little bit of luck. Yodin Zaku is always a scary encounter, and while sometimes it can get frustrating, it's still fun to try out teams and ideas and very rewarding when it works out.

Final Thoughts

As always, the point of this is to show u my approach and my thought process, it could work for you or it could flop, or you could have a much better approach which I'd love to hear about down in the comments!

Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend and getting that grind on and that final push before the season ends! As always, stay safe, have fun and happy grinding!
