Photos from my travels

All photos were taken by me

This is basically a part 2 to my last post. And I'll be posting more at a later date. These are some more photos from when I was traveling around the United States. I'm posting from my phone so I apologize for poor image size/quality. This was before I became proficient with a camera.

I see you're confused about tags. Your post has nothing to do with splintertalk, meme, sports, leo or stem. You may want to read the community guidelines of each community. Here's the leofinance guide.

@erikah So, you can post in different communities, as long as the content and tags match? Like so if I do splinterlands stuff, I'll use the splinterlands tag. And if I wanted to post photos I just do the photography tag, and it will show up in that community?

Yes, that's right!

When you're posting, you have two options.

  1. post to your blog
  2. post in a community

If you're using PeakD, this is how you select the option you'd like (your blog or in a community).

Here's a list of the communities you can choose from.

https://peakd.com/communities

It's better to join the one you are interested in and post in those for better visibility. Also as I mentioned in my previous comment, better read the rules each of these have and choose the tags according to your topic. You can not only earn the right tokens, but also make your post visible in the right communities.

In your case, for this post one of the photo communities would have been perfect as it's about photography. Travel not so much as it's not travel description, it's just photos.

Leofinance has its own frontend for the content the FAQ descripbes, so does sportstalksocial and stem and a few others.

I hope it's clear. If not, let me know :)

Thank you that makes more sense, but if when you post to a community, It auto tags it for that community, what are the other tag spots for? Is it just extra tags if the content fits multiple communities?

If you post in a community, as you say, it auto tags the community. In case of this post you could use #animals #nature as you have one animal photo and nature photos, or #sunset as well.

There are some general tags you can use to earn some tokens that fit every topic, like #palnet, neoxian, #archon for example.

One more thing, is there some guide or resource that explains general tags? Because I have no idea what those tags you listed are~

The best way to learn about a token is to go to Hive Engine

https://hive-engine.com/?p=tokens

You type the token name in the search box and it gives you the token.

Click the "i" letter, which leads to some information you need

You have the URL to the website and description about the token. Or check the communities as I have showed you previously.

There's no list of general tags as far as I know, we know them because we've been here for awhile. I'd like to use these
neoxian, proofofbrain, mancave, palnet, archon. You won't get in trouble for these.

Proofofbrain is a community with no niche topic, you can check it out to see if you like it. Posting from their fronted has some benefits as well.

Well thank you very much, I appreciate you taking the time to assist. I'm pretty new, and I have just been learning as I go. I will apply my tags accordingly from here on. 👍
