My Splinterlands Blog #153 - Land Delayed, Last RiftWatchers Airdrop, and End of Rebellion Presale
Welcome to another article where I write about my journey playing Splinterlands! Once again, I'm a little behind writing up my end of season article. But I'm not the only one behind, as land phase 1.5 did not come out on the 14th as advertised, and has been pushed back to the 28th of this month.
I got lucky with the final RiftWatcher airdrop, and got one copy of Inevitable the new legendary Life monster. The RiftWatcher set should run out of packs, due to an automatic daily burn of packs, sometime in December. It's a strong set of cards, and has managed to hold its value well, at least compared to Chaos Legion.
As I'm behind in writing this, the Rebellion set pack pre-sale has also ended. It almost sold out, with only 7,000, out of the original half a million, packs remaining at the end. From reading Discord, some people were trying to buy more and didn't get their cryptocurrency transactions through in time to pick up more at the end.
With the next phase of land approaching, I didn't buy any packs in the pre-sale. My Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) are going to be tied up with land use, and I'm hesitant to spend it on other things. The set is coming out on December 5th, with 9.5 million packs being available in the general sale.
Guild Brawls:
Guild Brawl #180, playing Bronze League Gold Foil Only. The guild came in last place, with only a few people entering brawls.

Guild Brawl #181, playing Silver League. Someone else in the guild took the gold foil spots, so I signed up for a different one this week. There was a lot higher attendance, and the guild came in 2nd place this week.

I opened up a couple of Gladiator packs:
No gold foil cards this time around, but that epic card from the second pack is pretty nice. The rare cards are decently strong as well.
The Rest:
The end of the season went pretty much as usual, I ended up jumping up from Silver to Gold league on my alternate account. I also managed to get into Diamond again on my main. Here's what I got for seasonal rewards:
A couple of epic cards and one decent sized Splintershard tokens (SPS) chest from the Gold chests on my alternate account.
A really nice set of rewards from my Diamond chests. I got three legendary cards, a few epic cards, and a gold foil summoner. Tons of potions and a good amount of Splintershard tokens as well!
One good note on the Land project, is that they recently put up a copy of production data with the land 1.5 for public testing. So, hopefully it will actually come out on the 28th. Though, with how many times it's been pushed already, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if another date slipped by.
