My journey with Splinter Lands is rather long since it was in development under steemit blockchain. Since then I have been covering splinter lands closely, understanding its new features, and overall development. After the launch, Splinter Lands hiked in the dapps rating and topped the charts which in turn helped the blockchain as well.

I have been a blogger on the steemit platform since 2017. With the association of Doge and Musk, concepts of Dapps were getting all the hype. Gaming via blockchain was the newest concept back then, many blockchains started creating Dapps and games. Betting, gambling, and land-based games were in the trends. And there a new concept of splinterlands came as well.

It was initially known as "Steemmonsters", but after forking away from the rigged steemit blockchain, on the new platform Hive it came to be known as the famous Splinter Lands. I was closely monitoring the development and the hype was real, at a moment splinter lands was leading the race of blockchain gaming. Nothing much has changed since then, after all the ups and downs in the crypto world, Splinter Lands is still the leading #play2earn game.

Participation and Time

I am more of a commentator than a player. I learned to play the splinter lands, but its development and success hooked me more. So my level of interest in splinter lands is up to its developments, features, and market dominance. With the launch of new editions and card sets, I make my top picks out of them.
