Ruler of the Seas, here water element with a rarity of legendary that comes under Reward edition is a monster that can be a good pick in the back row. The thing which amazed me about this monster is that it carries a swift plus blast ability. The swift ability of this monster helps other monsters in your deck with a slight change in their speed, overall helping other monsters to get effective in the initial round of the battle. The other thing which is special about this card is the blast ability as it will give damage to the adjacent monsters as well. The magic attack on this card here can easily bypass the shield or armor and can directly deal damage to the enemy monsters.
The specialty of this monster is the magic attack accompanied by the ability to add swiftness and can help in dealing additional damage to the adjacent monsters. As the stats show, it can deal with 3 units of magic attack and the speed of 3 can also be efficiently used if a summoner is selected that can aid both the health and speed of this monster.
My Supposed Strategy
Although, I am yet to start my first battle in splinterlands, but by understanding the monster I would be placing it in the back row to aid the team with its swiftness and deal extra damage to the enemy monsters. It has 5 points as health which means that it is not a perfect monster to be a tank of the front row but in certain cases, it can also play a tank part.
Conclusion
With a mana cost of 6 points, this monster can be a good choice in mid-high mana battles. Also if one wants to add the ability of swiftness and deal damage through its magic attack capabilities, it's a nice pick. I am quite eager to go in my first battle with this monster.
