The Dude's Daily SplinterLogs - Crazy Van Life Morning - Wake and Bake - Another 6 and 4 day!
How's it going my lovely humans! Hope your day is starting out well! Mine... well, woke up to a local crazy banging on the playground xylophone at 5am and yelling an Insane Clown Posse song at the top of his lungs... This went on till about 6:30 am when he finally closed his concert, lol... This is almost a daily thing, but he was abnormally loud this morning... Usually it's just the xylophone. So between that and my dog getting sick and puking up a bunch of fuzz because he tore into his comforter, it was a great start to the dude's morning, lol. But that's van life sometimes, especially in the city, lol.
But, it's all well and good! Got to get coffee, ride around and smoke the last bowl of some Wedding Cake and now landed myself at the laundromat for the weekly load of laundry, which happens to be right next to my favorite weed shop so I can replenish the Wedding Cake, lol. This is my Splinterlands battle grounds for the morning!
Going to try and get a bit more formatted with these posts and write it as I play, so here we go!
Battle 1 - Loss
The first battle opened up to a 12 mana cap battle, which I am not a fan of the low mana battles yet, but I am sure I will get better.
Battle 2 - Win
The second battle, again low mana cap at 15, was a squeaker, literally came down to who got the last hit, but I was able to put a W on the board!
Battle 3 - Win
Battle 3 put gave me another win! It was a 30 mana cap battle so I changed it up from the Death element to the Water element and kicked some butt for sure! Starting to find my groove, but I shouldn't talk too soon, lol. Still have 7 battles to go for the day!
Battle 4 - Loss
Well, battle 4 I straight got my ass kicked, lol. Oh well... It was a 19 mana cap battle and I tried to move over to the Life element that I don't really play with much and just did not set it up correctly, so totally my fault on this loss and I see what I did wrong. Moving on...
Battle 5 - Win
Boom! The 5th battle was a battle of Life vs Death, I was the Death side and yep, straight dominated! Only took 1 hit the entire battle! Yeah, the dude likes it like that, lol. Putting another W on the board!
Battle 6 - Win
So something happened with the page on battle 6 so I didn't get to actually see the battle happen. I know it was a 99 mana so I stacked the decks up with my best Death stack and was ready to do another battle with the Life element. I had to skip to the results because I didn't want to refresh and risk surrendering the battle, but apparently I came out the victor!
Battle 7 - Loss
Well, can't win them all, lol. This one was a tight one, it was a large 28 mana cap battle and it was Death vs Death. Well all I have to say it that the Riftwing card will be getting a try in a future battle. That thing was the reason alone for my loss. Haven't seen that one in action before and well, it looks like it will be a hard one to beat because it absorbs health everytime a card dies on either side. Licking my wounds and on to the next round...
Battle 8 - Loss
Battle 8 was a 21 mana cap battle and I got my butt kicked again. The previous strategy didn't work this time around and the Fire element just got the upperhand.
Battle 9 - Win
This was a low 14 mana cap battle and it was another Life vs Death battle! I am really finding my groove with the Death element in these lower mana battles, but don't want to start talking too much crap yet, lol. I am still just really getting the hang of it all. But let's add another W to the board!
Battle 10 - Win
This is a 25 mana cap battle. My Death element vs Forest element. That one always makes me a bit nervous because that Unicorn up front is a beast and it can really go any way if they stack the deck right. Well this time I got the upper hand and was able to close out the day with a win! Really liking this strategy I have going with the Death element.
This ends the day out with another winning average of 6 and 4! That makes it the second winning day in a row and evens out the 2 losing days I had at the beginning of the week! Tomorrow will be the deciding factor on if I am going to have an overall winning or losing week in Splinterlands!
