MONOMAD CHALLENGE: Hard Light Portraits

Hello Black and white community, today I bring you photographs of my friend Treasure. I've spoken about him in previous posts. These photographs were created in line with his birthday portraits some time in May.

The plans for this shoot were as fast as anything; we began planning less than twelve hours to shoot time. He had this suit already so we just had to get a white shirt to complete the outfit. The shoot location was at my place.

I decided to use hard lighting to create these portraits (hard lighting refers to light from a bare source with little or no modification). Treasure is natural when it comes to modelling so all I had to do was photograph.
So for today's @monomad challenge, I present to you images from the session.

These are great pictures, mate. I like the way a dark skin works in monochrome. When you have a white background, the subject is accentuated. You did great.
