End of an Era... A Splinterlands' Podcast
Episode 56: A Wascalwabbits Conversation
Welcome back to the People's Guild.
This week the bus stays in Taiwan as we pay a visit to our very own @thewascalwabbits.
This is a bittersweet episode for us here at the podcast as we issue in the end of an era.
We make the most of a final official appearance from our great buddy, Wascal, as he briefly shares with the People's Guild what is next for him. We also take the opportunity to pick his brain on all that's going on in the Splinterlands universe, namely the recently announced and soon to be delivered staked SPS system.
With Wascal's blessing, the People's Guild shall continue in a new iteration - this one featuring one of our favorite recurring guests and our friend @hepthorn in the co-host chair.
We'll do our best to continue this passion project that Wascal and I began so many months ago - in the meantime, we wish our friend the best in this next chapter of his life.
As always, thanks for tuning in - enjoy the episode!

It started off quite somber at the beginning. The painful awaking to the realities of the morning glare. The drunken headache from partying too well. The burden of regret.
Then the reminder that, even though we are feeling torrid, there's a potential for the party to continue in the not too distant future.
My current thought pattern is,
"Once upon a Time, the game did not exist. It was created by the ideas, and motivation, of a couple of people. That idea bore fruit. An abundance. Everybody thought that they were the gardener.
Now, we are learning about the seasons and the weather.
How does it affect the tree?
How does it affect the fruit?
The tree, that germinated out of the consciousness of the planter, is now the bastion of many. They seek a reward for sitting under the tree. They complain when there is no shade. They complain when there is no fruit. They complain that the conditions have changed.
Did the tree die? Did it stop producing fruit?
No, but we are learning that the tree needs good soil, good weather and care. Tend to the tree. The fruit will come. Learn the seasons. Learn the lessons."
The allegory of the tree. Great story amigo and rings with all sorts of truth. Appreciate you sharing, Jagged!
I love you guyz and love everything you do! Added to my regular upvoting list! Lots of love.
