Episode 71: A Flauwy Conversation

Welcome back to the People's Guild. The bus goes transatlantic for this one as we park in Barcelona, Spain to catch up with this guest. A huge proponent for all that Hive represents, this guest has burrowed into the ecosystem through various endeavors and projects over the years & continues to do so with unshaken conviction.

We're very proud to present our conversation with @flauwy.

The episode gets going with the tale of Flauwy's long & winding journey to Steemit / Hive and establishes a recurring theme throughout this episode - life's way of preparing us for some presently unknown future opportunity. We hear all about the creation of @monster-curator, One-Up and the Cartel (now @oneup-cartel). As Flauwy makes his way through describing these various projects, his true passion in Hive becomes crystal clear - the community.

We jump to another Hive project, ChiFi Bots, and are told of the saga surrounding this failed gaming project. Still relative rookies to all things Hive, this marks the first infamous rug-pull story that we've been made aware of on our beloved blockchain. Valuable insight and perspective to bear in mind for all things moving forward in our own respective crypto journeys to be found in here, for sure.

From there, the episode takes a turn towards the magic that surrounds us all in this thing called lfie. Flauwy indulges the People's Guild in his journey from Germany to Costa Rica to Peru to Spain. What a wonderful episode with yet another wonderful guest from our community. Always refreshing to hear the perspectives of the OGs of Hive that see such a bright future for the blockchain, despite this imposing bear market we continue to cope with.

Appreciate you giving the episode a listen & dropping a comment, @wanderingmoon!

Have since taken a look and seems things have picked up again over chifi bots - not sure if its a completely separate run at the project with the original assets or how things are happening over there.

Either way, great perspective for all of us on Hive.
