Welcome back to the People's Guild. We've started a new segment of the show in which we aim to engage the writers & content creators out there through a new per-episode challenge.

The Next Challenge

For this week’s challenge, we invite the Splinterlands community to design a summoner card inspired by @Yabapmatt, one of the game's co-founders. Known for being a "man of the people," Yabapmatt's card should embody his influential and thoughtful nature while offering players exciting gameplay mechanics.

There’s speculation that this card will be released through an auction-style sale, where only 100 cards will be available over 100 days, making it one of the most exclusive cards in the game.

Here are some options to consider as you craft your design:

• Dual-Element Summoner: Imagine Yabapmatt’s card having the ability to summon monsters from two different elements. This feature could mirror his multi-faceted influence on the game and would provide unparalleled flexibility, allowing players to create hybrid teams by blending strengths from multiple splinters.

• Tactics: What if this summoner allowed players to make game-time decisions about which abilities to assign to specific monsters? This would add a layer of strategic depth, ensuring that players can adapt their tactics on the fly based on the flow of battle—an ability that reflects Yabapmatt's role as a leader and innovator.

• Abilities: What kind of buffs or debuffs would Yabapmatt's card offer? Perhaps he provides team-wide enhancements like Cleanse, Protect, or even a new ability reflecting his "man of the people" persona, boosting all allied monsters or offering protection against certain debuffs.

• Rarity & Power: Given the exclusivity of the card, consider what kind of Legendary abilities Yabapmatt might possess. His card could potentially represent a high-tier summoner with enhanced stats and unique powers, making it both a collector’s item and a powerful piece on the battlefield.

• Balanced Design: Since Yabapmatt is seen as a "man of the people," the card might also have balanced abilities that make it accessible to all levels of players, whether they are beginners or experienced veterans, reflecting his commitment to community inclusiveness.
