Solo Sikoa's Long-Awaited Victory - A Step in the Right Direction

Solo Sikoa, after months of silence, finally speaks up. And I am relieved for him — thrilled even. Six months have passed since his last victory in WWE, and this win is long overdue.

In November 2023, he beat the legendary John Cena at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. It was a big achievement; many thought that this would be the start of something great for him as a wrestler. But then they made him lose every single match from there on out. It was painful to watch and I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t let him shine.

However, yesterday evening during a WWE Live event held in Bologna (Italy), Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga faced off against Randy Orton & LA Knight in a tag team match – which they won! Seeing him back on top again was such a relief. After waiting for 179 days, it felt like this victory came none too soon.

In his later Instagram post, Solo Sikoa spoke about his win and thanked his tag team partner Tama Tonga. He must be so happy right now. I can only imagine how relieved he must feel. But it’s been such a difficult journey for him – hopefully this is just the start of brighter things in the future.

Something that caught my attention was John Cena talking about how much Solo Sikoa reminded him of Umaga, shortly before they wrestled against each other. That’s pretty big coming from somebody like John Cena; it shows you what kind of talent we’re dealing with here.

Now that Sikoa has finally won a big game, I hope WWE will allow him to keep going in this same direction. He and Tama Tonga are going to face Randy Orton and Kevin Owens at Backlash France. This will not be an easy match, but I believe they can win it.

Being a fan of Solo Sikoa, I am certainly going to cheer for him along with Tama Tonga at Backlash France. I believe that they have a great chance of winning, which would also serve as another step forward for Sikoa’s career.

All in all, seeing Solo Sikoa back on track with victories makes me happy beyond words. It has taken too long, and I hope this is the first of many successes for him in WWE. Keep it up!
