Have been watching Chad Gable and his team at Alpha Academy lately?
Man, they are really doing well! Chad has been carrying the flag like a true leader. He has always been good in the ring but he is on fire now. From being a likeable babyface against Gunther, to becoming a silly bad guy, Chad’s character has grown so much.
His promo on Raw was crazy! He had me feeling for everyone else on his team. Whether it was calling out Maxxine, standing up to Akira Tozawa or breaking Otis’ heart – it was all over the place emotionally.
I couldn’t help but understand where he was coming from even if I wanted to boo him too.
But what’s next for Alpha Academy?
They could all turn heel or maybe bring in The Creeds or Diamond Mine to mix things up. Ivy Nile going after Maxxine would be a great storyline. And no matter what happens Otis knows how to get the crowd going so hopefully he stays in the spotlight.
I like the idea of a match where every participant can be expelled from the Alpha Academy. Such a game would be very hot and passionate, especially if Otis goes against Chad. This is going to be tremendous!
Speaking of Chad, I believe he should have an opportunity to fight for the Intercontinental Championship. Though it might make Sami Zayn’s loss seem early, it will still create a good narrative if Chad wins. This would be like watching someone that has been working hard finally getting their lucky break.
In general I’m thrilled about what comes next for Alpha Academy and Chad Gable. These guys are providing us with top notch entertainment and I can’t wait to know more about their future plans.
