what went down after SmackDown.

Watching Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes go head-to-head was intense. The tension between them was palpable, and it set the stage for a dramatic showdown.

But what happened next took the excitement to another level.

If you remember, about 3 weeks ago Jey Uso attempted to snatch the Intercontinental Championship from Gunther, but the interference from his brothers cost him.

True loyalty was exhibited by Rhodes when he came to Jey’s aid and led to his face-off with Jimmy Uso.

Now, when Smackdown ended, Roman was gone from the Arena.

Jimmy sought for a YEET-off to win the crowd. It was funny and embarrassing at the same time.

Nonetheless, there was anticipation in the air as he made an attempt to relate with the audience but unfortunately it fell flat.

Conversely, Jey and Rhodes knew how to handle their fans and this only served to make Jimmy more nervous.

When Jimmy couldn’t get the crowd on his side, it meant that things were about to change.

Jey then superkicked Jimmy, falling into a crossroad by Cody Rhodes.

It was also a reminder that beneath all of it is an intense rivalry waiting to explode.

I enjoy the combination of show and drama that WWE brings. The post-smackdown antics were an exhibit for it.

However, what keeps me glued to the screen is the forthcoming Jimmy vs Jey fight on WrestleMania 40 in a fortnight.

It is private, it's fierce and it promises to be one great wrestling match.

So, as much as the post SmackDown actions were interesting; they only served as a reminder that something grander was about to happen.

This is how such rivalries are finally resolved at WrestleMania, it will be interesting to see this one unfold.
