Drew Gulak Pulled from WWE

The last week’s edition of NXT didn’t feature Drew Gulak and that made me think. His group No Quarter Catch Crew was present on the show, but he wasn’t.
There are claims that it is because of Ronda Rousey saying something to him backstage in a WWE show about her sweatpants’ drawstring being pulled by him. She commented on this situation, describing how it was part of a toxic environment at WWE, and now Gulak seems to be paying the price.
Gulak has denied any wrong intentions and said sorry as well, but still he is not n TV. This has left me somewhat torn though. On one hand, if he did something wrong perhaps there should be repercussions.
However, on the other hand, isn’t it unjust for him to suffer like this if it was just a misunderstanding?
NXT from last night became even more heated up. The NQCC group where Gulak belongs had an encounter with Tony D’Angelo Family Theater on this subject of business only got hot when money came into play.
Dempsey who is currently leading NQCC said some things concerning Gulak which suggested that WWE may have finally sidelined them all together.
It is difficult to see this happen, particularly because Gulak worked as a producer and trainer behind the scenes. In the event that WWE is truly basing its position on Rousey’s accusation, it might imply that Gulak’s future with the business is in danger.
However, we still don’t know everything. There have been no official statements from WWE and Gulak’s statement was brief. At present, it is all just rumors and speculations which are not fair to anyone involved.
From my point of view, it will be imperative for WWE to address these matters openly and candidly. If there are issues with company culture, they should fix them. And if he did something wrong Gulak ought to man up and face the music for his actions. But until more information comes out, I can’t judge anything.
For everybody’s sake I hope things get sorted out soon enough. Drama and controversy should not be involved when wrestling is about entertainment and athleticism. Hopefully we can return back to that sometime soon.
