So, the Raw after WrestleMania was built up, and boy! Did it live up to its billing?
One of the most fascinating parts was when Shinsuke Nakamura walked into the ring without anyone knowing who he would wrestle.
And guess what?
The NXT champ, Ilja Dragunov emerged! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting that but I couldn’t have been more excited.
The match didn’t last for long; however, it served as a sample of their combined efforts. Both of them are so hard and physical,don’t you think?
However, due to other occurrences on Raw, they had little time for displaying all their abilities.
Shinsuke came out with a kick that landed squarely on Ilja’s face!
But ilia wasn’t going anywhere. He’s a winner not only at heart, but he wants to go through many challenges just to prove that he is better than others. So he fought back and took control of the match.
It was a seesaw affair as both men displayed their skills and class. Then, Shinsuke missed a big move and Ilja saw his chance.
This combo move called the H Bomb/Torpedo Moscow did the trick! And that was it! Ilja got the win!
All in all, I felt it was an incredibly exciting match. Despite not having much time to do anything special, they still managed to out on an entertaining performance.
It is at these points I remember why I love watching wrestling. But moments like these always give me a reason for loving wrestling. You don’t know what will happen but once something nice falls your way, it feels so good!
