I became very engaged with the story when I read about what is going on with Gunther, Kaiser and Vinci in WWE. It seems like Gunther is really on the rise, but Vinci is keeping him back.
It was very surprising when Kaiser exploded at Vinci, but then Gunther seemed okay with whatever punishment Vinci was getting.
I think Kaiser overreacted a little bit, but it’s obvious that he is tired of being held down. It’s almost like he would do anything to move forward— even hurt his friend. I don’t know if that’s good or bad, but it definitely creates some drama.
The intriguing thing about Imperium sticking together through all of this chaos is that it illustrates loyalty and a refusal to fail.
Bringing in someone new, be it Dragunov (former NXT Champion) or Dempsey, could shake things up for the better within the group.
While Dragunov may have intensity, he might also come off as too showy for Imperium’s liking. Dempsey appears to fit them more naturally given his no-nonsense attitude towards wrestling.
Honestly, I’m really freaken into this right now. The way it goes down and what happens next with Imperium… my God.
