Reviewing my Hive goals
Now that the end of the year is near, I thought it was a great time to review my Hive goals again. Sometimes my plans have to adapt to real-life situations a bit, especially now that we have this big goal of moving countries next year I take this into account whenever I make some plans to build/save my stakes. I will focus on the Hive goals only in this post as I think there's already enough to share here.
Hive Power
Let's start with the obvious one: Hive. Currently, I have 1242 Hive Power, of which 500 HP is delegated to @leo.voter for daily $LEO earnings and 40 HP is delegated to my alt, and 2 people I brought to Hive to get them started when they start creating content. With the price of Hive currently still a lot higher than it was a few months ago, but lower than the ATH recently, it at least means that I'm earning a bit more Hive tokens when payouts are due, but still a lot less than before. Of course, seeing the price higher is great, it has the downside of earning fewer tokens, and vice versa.
I would love to see my account hit 1500 HP before January 1, 2022. I believe I can do it if either my earnings go up, OR I swap some HBD for Hive.
First Hive Goal: 1500 HP Before 2022
Second Hive Goal: 2500 HP Before April 1, 2022
From earning $BRO to buying $BRO
At one point I had to sell my $BRO tokens, ever since I had a very tiny amount of Bro, giving me daily dividends from the curation rewards. It was not worth mentioning most of the time and to add to my $BRO stake, I took the opportunity to delegate a bunch of tokens to @brofi and earn tiny bits of $BRO for delegating to the account. As my delegated tokens did not grow that much (after all my curation rewards lowered due to the delegation), I could not add many tokens constantly to the delegation, meaning the earnings of $BRO stayed quite low.
Now that I had a great few weeks with my Hive earnings, I decided to invest in Bro again and started buying them. While doing so, I decided that these tiny amounts of Bro weren't worth the delegations anymore as I'd rather earn the curation rewards myself, and then compound them into the stakings, or I could also choose to sell the rewards for bits of bro.
Several days ago I took back all my delegations to Brofi and now I'm waiting for a couple more days before the delegations are returned. I'm curious to find out how many curation rewards this will add to my earnings, and hopefully the option to buy even more $BRO.
BRO goals
Currently, I'm at 79.97 $BRO. I often buy fractions of the token, as overall it keeps adding to the stake anyway. I'm already seeing progress in my daily dividends compared to a week ago, which feels great.
First $BRO goal: 150 BRO Before January 14, 2022
Second $BRO goal: 250 BRO before March 1, 2022
I would love to see my bro stake higher before the end of the month, but I must stay realistic knowing that this isn't always possible and also depends a bit on my earnings and the market. Hopefully, I can achieve these goals!
CTP Power
I've joined the CTP challenge just after I started buying the tokens just days before, their challenge runs for another 8 days. I'm trying to see how many CTP I can buy and see how big my stake is by that time. I will not be able to win this challenge, as some have been buying a big bag of them, which is fine as I'm more building the stake for myself to earn more curation along the way.
Currently, I have 1810.673 CTP staked.
First CPT goal: 3333 CTP Power before January 1, 2022.
Second CTP goal: 6666 CTP Power before February 1, 2022.
These amounts were picked just because I love the numbers, haha.
LEO Power
Last but not least, I'm building my Leo stake again on my alt account, where I delegate the stake to @meowcurator for daily LEO returns. I'm not able to actively vote on Leofinance each day, so this seemed like a good choice for me. Probably I will add some more LEO to the stake to be able to vote for curation (auto votes for good content creators), but the plan is not determined yet.
Leo will (for now) not be on my goals list, but I will focus on earning as many LEO tokens as possible by creating content.
Splinterlands
My account value dropped significantly as well as the $SPS stake value and voucher airdrop value. I want to give this another few days to see what is happening before I make a decision on adding more SPS stake or not. For now, the rental income is quite low each day, I've already edited the prices of the cards, but it doesn't seem to help that much. For now, I'm excluding Splinterlands earnings in my goals. I will add these later.
Goals within reach
I believe all of these goals are within reach, especially if I keep creating content like I've been doing for the past weeks and can keep up with that. I hope to even get past some goals may be to have an even better start of the year 2022.
I will create a (bi)weekly update, depending on the status, and real-life.

It's helpful seeing those, isn't it? I agree with you. It motivates me to think about my goals as well. Although for a long time I still had to power down sometimes, or wasn't sure about leaving the earnings in Hive as I felt it was better off outside the platform for me to invest in other projects. I'm very happy that today I see that I should start building again, and I should do it as fast as I can.
I will include LEO as well just not now as it would be unrealistic.
WAGMI! 1500 HIVE by January first, it's a date, ok? :)

ps as the CTP token is still new to me, I didn't want to set unrealistic goals and it was indeed just the funny numbers that made me set these goals. I will most likely adapt in the future and see how that goes.
You should also write a goals post it helps you to stick to it :)

I've seen some Hivers complain and judge about those who power down, without considering the myriad of reasons one might have for doing so. Especially with the current global conditions, am I right? I say, "let's live and let live", and "to each their own".
What's important is that you,and me, are in it for the long haul.

As someone who had to power down many times due to real-life things, I agree. I never felt the need to judge anyone else for their decision to power down something they earned themselves. I don't tell you what to do with your salary either, do I? It's none of my business.
That's something 100% true and never was different even with power downs. I could have had a huge stake already, but I just can't have financial shit in real life when I know I have earned 100 bucks on Hive that I can use to solve it (example). That would be stupid IMO. Thankfully, I can now finally start building for real, and I have to admit, that makes me very excited, knowing that at some point I will have a nice vote waiting for those that have good content or newbies to show them it's worth making an effort. Can't wait!

It will be on my list again, but to make sure I will be able to reach my other goals, I have to postpone it a bit, and stick to the LEO earnings only :)
We have to move countries next year, so money is needed in real life too. But probably I will add it in January when I have reached a few milestones again.
