will splinterlands new rules fail?
Here is my experience playing Splinterlands' ranked battles and some thought on where it leads the Dark Energy Crystal and SPS tokens.
I feel that in a simple (cheapest) layout, the most favorable is the Death deck and the Earth deck, followed by the Water deck, then the Fire deck, and way behind is the Life deck.
So the price of cards will be adequately corrected with time.
Nevertheless, winning focus points and season points, hence the chests, became more difficult.
The gameplay is unfair, because there is a chance to lose even with a better hand.
That is enough to chase away the people who just entered the game. So I cannot expect any bullishness in DEC or/and SPS trade.
Even if the gameplay is not attractive anymore- there are still the card trade and rental gains. But with fewer players coming in, that will degrade as well.
In effect, people will withdraw their money out of the game, and we will watch the dive of DEC and SPS.
I hope this will not happen, because I really like the game, but not the recent version. Peace.

The start of your Hive journey can be overwhelming but just as you got the hang out of Splinterlands, you will eventually like it here. I do suggest though using the peakd.com! Better interface. Some Splinterlands players use Splintertalk as well but not familiar with that.
