What is it?

"A Pirate Saga" is an epic and immersive blockchain-based pirate adventure game that takes players on a swashbuckling journey through treacherous seas, hidden coves, and ancient maps in search of fame, fortune, and the ultimate pirate legacy. Players are transported back to the Golden Age of Piracy, a time of lawless seas, hidden treasures, and daring escapades. Players step into the boots of a daring pirate captain and embark on a high-stakes quest for the greatest treasure the Seven Seas have ever known.

A Pirate Saga combines the excitement of blockchain technology, NFTs, and strategic gameplay to create an engaging pirate adventure. Players can set sail, collect ships, unlock legendary pirate ranks, and compete on leaderboards to become the ultimate Pirate Legend in this immersive and ever-expanding pirate world.

We are now live! What's new?

When you register, you get to choose from 4 classes: Navigator, Fighter, Healer and Scavenger.

Navigator

You are the master of the high seas. Your expertise in charting courses, reading the stars, and navigating treacherous waters is unmatched. You steer the ship through dangerous storms, uncharted territories, and hidden passages, ensuring the crew reaches their destinations safely and swiftly. Your knowledge of maps and navigation tools is vital for uncovering hidden treasures and secret pirate havens.

50% less chance of encountering a storm and higher chance to discover an island.
Also the !setsail cooldowns on bad outcomes is reduced. So you can sail more often. A role-specific command is currently being worked on.

Fighter

The Fighter is the backbone of the pirate crew, skilled in the art of combat and weaponry. Whether it's facing off against rival pirates in intense ship-to-ship battles or defending your crew on uncharted islands, you are the one who wields cutlasses, muskets, and cannons with deadly precision. Your bravery and combat prowess make you a force to be reckoned with, ensuring the crew's safety in the face of danger.

You get double the chance to find and plunder another ship and slightly reduced chance of rough seas.
You have a special command called !fightmonster

Healer

The Healer is the heart of the crew, responsible for tending to wounds and maintaining the health of your fellow pirates. With knowledge of herbs, medicines, and first aid, you play a crucial role in keeping the crew fit for their adventures. Whether it's nursing injured comrades back to health or curing ailments acquired during treacherous journeys, your skills ensure that the crew remains strong and ready for the next challenge.

Chance of food supply running low is cut in half and your chance to find an island more than doubles.
You have a special command called !findhealing.

Scavenger

As the Scavenger, your keen eye and resourcefulness are unmatched. You excel at finding hidden treasures, salvaging shipwrecks, and gathering essential supplies. Your ability to spot valuable loot, uncover buried treasure, and gather materials for ship repairs and upgrades is essential for the crew's success. You're the one who turns forgotten relics and castoffs into valuable assets, fueling the crew's endeavors on the high seas.

If you find and plunder another ship you get double the amount of tokens.
You also have a special command, !smugglerun.

Together, these four roles form a dynamic pirate crew, each member contributing their unique skills and expertise to ensure the success of your daring adventures on the open ocean. Whether it's navigating perilous waters, engaging in epic battles, maintaining the crew's health, or discovering hidden riches, each role is essential for a legendary pirate saga

Where Can You Play?

Currently the game is only playable on the DRIP discord server.

You need a hive account. You will issue the !register command , the bot will give you instructions and after sending the 5 swap.hive activation fee, you can issue !activate to start playing. You are also given 2500 coins to start with unless you have a DRIP Challenger role for staking 1000 DRIP, in that case you start with 5,000 LOOT coins. You can then play as much as you like for free and start earning LOOT.

What Is LOOT?

Coins or "LOOT" can also be purchased and deposited into the game from hive-engine (https://tribaldex.com/trade/LOOT). Each LOOT token is listed for .001 Hive and it costs 500 to purchase a chest ingame. Chests can contain more LOOT coins, Wood, NFT's. There's a limited number currently on Hive-Engine. Withdraws will be available soon as well to send coins from ingame to hive-engine.

What is NFT & Wood?

The NFT represents an actual NFT. We plan to have packs of nft's eventually of pirates with varying rarity. These pirates will give you an associated Pirate Power. Currently each NFT represents a pirate NFT and will be exchangeable 3:1 for packs of 3 once available.

Wood is a rare resource and we're working on something special to use it on , stay tuned!

Leaderboard, More Commands, Mechanics, Coming Very Soon!

We've just launched but have already fixed some bugs, enabled deposits and are working on new mechanics for the game. One of the first items will be a leaderboard. The more NFT you own, the higher you will place on the leaderboard. You will also receive leaderboard rewards.
