NOOBIE post: I just bought my FIRST cards on Splinterlands - Two Onyx Sentinels... BAM!
Investing in SplinterLands Cards for the first time.

I enjoy stats, numbers, and upward trends of good things.
Today I decided to bite bullet and invest in some digital assetts in the form of two Splinterland EPIC cards. Hat-tip to @jongolson for the assist.
Two Onyx Sentinel cards.
They were on the lowest price end of the EPIC foils and I pulled the trigger on the purchases.
Stunned at how fast one of them rented.
I bought one that's completely ready to rent, and the other is locked for 2 days since it was recently used. No biggie.
The one that's ready to rent ALREADY RENTED OUT.
Wow. Stunned at how fast that happened. I now have a rentor who is paying me DEC for the use of my cards.
Folks, this is hands-down one of the best ways I have seen to earn crypto. < -- That's MY opinion. Seems like a simple concept:
Buy an asset that pays in other assets (DEC).
And I am just learning the ropes here but man this looks to be a solid purchase just because of the USE case.
^^ Ya gotta start somewhere. I have zero. Onward and upward.
What can I expect? Let's chat below!
Since I am completely new to this entire process, I'd love to hear advice from any card renters out there who would like to discuss:
-strategies,
-what to buy,
-what's hot, where to learn, etc.
Consider me to be a complete noob to this side of the game (the investing side). What pitfalls should I look out for?
