Look Out! Or, Living Lava will Whoop ya!

Look at my Green Angry Face Phone Wallpaper.png

I play in the Bronze League, and I can tell you, the most important cards to own is the LIVING LAVA. I am so often surprised that it's a card you don't often come up against. Probably because it is not a flashy tank, or amazing support in the backline. However, there is more to this card than initially meets the eye.

Here's why it is awesome:

3 Attack - from a card that costs 7 mana, this is about as good as it gets.
1 Speed - OK, it's not quick - but sometimes that is helpful, particularly in a battle where slow goes first.
2 Armour - this is pretty solid, because of his shield, it'll take 2 hits to get rid of the armour.
6 Health - this is pretty standard for a tank.

But did you see it's SHIELD skill?
This skill means that you take reduced damage on all of your defending. If you get hit with +2, you'll take 1 damage, if you get hit with +4, you'll only take 2. Just be careful, if you come up against magic, you will take full damage.

So - the card is amazing. Perhaps it is for this reason the card demands a price of $4.25 USD per card. It is part of the 'Starter Set' however, so that might keep the price low. When it is removed from the 'Starter Set' I would expect his cost to sky rocket.

That said, Living Lava needs to be paired with the right teammates. I'd suggest:

Tarsa is a super pair, because she will bump up your LIVING LAVA's attack go to 4 - and his health to 7. This will make you far more dangerous, and perhaps let you survive an extra hit!

I'd also recommend you put the SERPENTINE SPY out the back. The Lava has SHIELD and will take an awful lot to kill, giving this guy some good protection, will he will be doing very high damage.

Still not convinced? Have a look at how the LIVING LAVA goes in this battle below. The battle only goes for 23 seconds because the Spy defeats both of my opponent's backline cards - and then, he destroys my opponent's tank.

This was truly a battle to watch on replay to show just how necessary this card can be. Enjoy the fight:

Good battle, the Mustang is hard to kill down to his speed - you end up missing him all the time.
