A warm greeting to the entire Splinterlands Community. Once again this week I offer you the match I have chosen in order to participate in this weekly contest, in the hope of always having better luck than in previous weeks.

In this challenge we will focus on the RuleSet NOXIOUS FUMES:

At the beginning of the game, all monsters start out poisoned, so they will lose 2 damage (armor cannot provide protection) every turn. Monsters with IMMUNITY ability will not take any damage. Another very useful ability is CLEANSE (which can cure poisoning). Monsters reborn through RESURRECT and REBIRTH abilities will not suffer poisoning again once they return to the field.

In the challenge that I considered

the further limitation was:

• Counterspell: When a monster is hit by magic damage, a part of this damage goes back to the attacking monster.

LINEUP

In this challenge that required a match with NOXIOUS FUMES, my choice was very limited by the cards available to me: unfortunately, I do not have many cards with Immunity abilities in my collection, so I had to rely on those in my possession. I therefore chose the FIRE element because it was my intention to use FORGOTTEN ONE. Because I was counting on making a team with Melee Attacks, I chose ETERNAN BRUNE as my Summoner, which can reduce the armor of opposing monsters by 2 points.

I chose GRUM FLAMEBLADE as a Tank to take advantage of its high life point and attack value. By attacking among the last, he could face a monster without armor: by eliminating it, he would increase his stats thanks to the ability Bloodlust.

CHIMNEY WALLSTOP because he can attack from the second position and, with the Bloodlust skill, can increase his statistics.

---

FIRECALLER is useful for his Martyr ability to increase the statistics of the 2 adjacent monsters.

---

FORGOTTEN ONE is the only one that will not receive poison damage. He is next to Firecaller and, although he will not attack directly until he is in first position, he can avoid attacks from abilities such as Sneak and Opportunity because of his high life points and field position.

TENYII STRIKER to take advantage of his Sneak ability and try to weaken the opponent's lineup.

---

DJINN APPRENTICE is not the ideal choice given the match rules, but unfortunately I had to adjust to what I had available for mana left.

MATCH

My opponent decided to use a Summoner that would give +1 in speed and allow him to use a Gladius Card. He decided to converge my initial damage on Iidri Fire, which also has the Redemption ability (with which she will do additional damage to my team when she is removed from the game). Finally Void Dragon, despite having magic damage, will not take reflex damage thanks to his Void ability.

ROUND 2

At the beginning of Round 2, my Taunt received a lot of damage but was still present. Unfortunately, my attacks were dispersed mostly on Iidri Fire because of her Taunt ability.

ROUND 3

The third round both my opponent and I are left with 4 Monsters, but I have a small advantage that could be decisive: my Chimney had a stats increase due to the Bloodlust skill and a further increase will come from the Martyr skill of Firecaller, who will drop us right away due to poison damage.

ROUND 4

Forgotten One will be left alone, but most of the work has been done: thanks to the armor and the Immunity skill, he should hold up to damage from the opponent (keeping in mind that magic damage will go directly to life and ranged damage to armor) having never taken damage throughout the match.

ROUND 5

The battle ends here, my opponent cannot avoid the 2 poison damage and the next 5 Melee damage, for a total of exactly 7 damage.

VERSIONE ITALIANA

Un caloroso saluto a tutta la Comunità di Splinterlands. Anche questa settimana vi propongo il match che ho scelto per poter partecipare a questo contest settimanale, nella speranza di aver sempre miglior fortuna rispetto alle settimane precedenti.

In questa sfida ci concentreremo sul RuleSet NOXIOUS FUMES:

All'inizio della partita tutti i mostri partono avvelenati, quindi perderanno 2 danni (l'armatura non può fornire protezione) ogni turno. I mostri con abilità IMMUNITY non subiranno alcun danno. Un'altra abilità molto utile è CLEANSE (in grado di curare l'avvelenamento). I mostri rinati grazie alle abilità RESURRECT e REBIRTH, una volta ritornati sul campo, non subiranno nuovamente l'avvelenamento.

Nella sfida che ho preso in considerazione

l' ulteriore limitazione era:

• Counterspell: Quando un mostro viene colpito da un danno magico, una parte di questo danno torna indietro al mostro attaccante.

LINEUP

In questa challenge che richiedeva un match con NOXIOUS FUMES, la mia scelta è stata molto limitata dalle carte a mia disposizione: purtroppo nella mia collezione non ho molte carte con abilità Immunity e quindi mi sono dovuto basare su quelle in mio possesso. Ho scelto quindi l'elemento FUOCO perchè era mia intenzione usare FORGOTTEN ONE. Poichè contavo di fare un team con attacco fisico, ho scelto come Summoner ETERNAN BRUNE, in grado di ridurre di 2 punti l'armatura dei mostri avversari.

Ho scelto GRUM FLAMEBLADE come Tank per sfruttare il suo elevato valore di punti vita e di attacco. Attaccando tra gli ultimi, potrebbe affrontare un mostro senza armatura: eliminandolo, aumenterebbe le sue statistiche grazie all'abilità Bloodlust

CHIMNEY WALLSTOP perchè può attaccare dalla seconda posizione e, con l'abilità Bloodlust, può incrementare le sue statistiche.

---

FIRECALLER è utile per la sua abilità Martyr, per aumentare le statistiche dei 2 mostri adiacenti.

---

FORGOTTEN ONE è l'unico che non riceverà danno da veleno. E' accanto a Firecaller e, anche se non attaccherà direttamente fino a quando non sarà in prima posizione, può evitare gli attacchi di abilità come Sneak ed Opportunity per via dei suoi elevati punti vita e della posizione in campo.

TENYII STRIKER per sfruttare la sua abilità Sneak e cercare di indebolire le retrovie dell'avversario.

---

DJINN APPRENTICE non è la scelta ideale viste le regole del match, ma purtroppo mi sono dovuto adeguare a quanto avevo a disposizione per il mana rimasto.

MATCH

Il mio avversario ha deciso di utilizzare un Summoner che desse +1 in velocità e che gli permettesse di usare una Gladius Card. Ha deciso di far convergere i miei iniziali danni su Iidri Fire, dotata anche dell'abilità Redemption (con cui farà ulteriori danni al mio team quando verrà eliminata dal gioco). Infine Void Dragon, nonostante abbia danno magico, non subirà danno di riflesso grazie alla sua abilità Void.

ROUND 2

All'inizio del secondo Round il mio Taunt ha ricevuto molti danni, ma è ancora presente. Purtroppo i miei attacchi si sono dispersi soprattutto su Iidri Fire per via della sua abilità Taunt.

ROUND 3

Il terzo round sia io che il mio avversario rimaniamo con 4 Mostri, ma ho un piccolo vantaggio che potrebbe essere decisivo: il mio Chimney ha avuto un aumento delle statistiche dovuto all'abilità Bloodlust ed un ulteriore aumento arriverà dall'abilità Martyr di Firecaller, che ci abbandonerà subito per via dei danni da veleno.

ROUND 4

Forgotten One rimarrà da solo, ma la maggior parte del lavoro è stata fatta: grazie all'armatura ed all'abilità Immunity dovrebbe reggere i danni da parte dell'avversario (tenendo presente che quelli magici andranno direttamente sulla vita e quelli a distanza sull'armatura) non avendo mai subito danni durante tutto l'incontro.

ROUND 5

La battaglia termina quì, il mio avversario non può evitare i 2 danni di veleno ed i successivi 5 danni fisici, per un totale di 7 danni esatti.
