[ESP-ENG] Social Media Challenge! - My Estrategy for "Going the Distance"

Desde hace pocos días los compañeros de Splinterlands han hechos grandes anuncios de actualizaciones venideras que prometen llevar a juego a los más alto posible.
Estos anuncios nos preparan para un año donde veremos quizás la preparación de mazos más minuciosa posible, con lo de las cartas atadas al alma tendremos que pensar muy bien cuales podemos tener para ciertas ocasiones de las batallas y cuales nos ayudaran a contrarrestar cartas que quizás no tengamos ya que no podemos comprarlas sino solo ganarlas en cofres de recompensa.
En esta serie de post intentare darle mi opinión de cuales son las cartas que más deberías pensar en comprar para prepararte para las actualizaciones que vienen.

Since a few days ago the folks at Splinterlands have made big announcements of upcoming updates that promise to take the game to the highest possible level.
These announcements prepare us for a year where we will see perhaps the most thorough deck preparation possible, with the soulbound cards we will have to think very well which ones we can have for certain occasions of the battles and which ones will help us to counteract cards that we may not have since we can not buy them but only win them in reward chests.
In this series of posts I will try to give you my opinion of which cards you should think about buying to prepare for the upcoming updates.

Específicamente en este anuncio hecho el 23 de enero hablaron sobre 2 nuevas reglas en las batallas las cuales era raro que no estuvieran antes, pero pensando más a fondo supongo que era porque no se contaban con las cartas suficientes como para llevarse a cabo, estos son el de: Going the Distance: “Sólo se pueden usar monstruos con ataque a distancia” y Wands Out: “Solo se pueden usar monstruos con ataque mágico.”
En este post me centrare en la primera regla nueva, donde hablare según mis pensamientos cuales son las cartas que debemos pensar en tener para saber atacar a la hora de encontrarnos con ella en las batallas.
Specifically in this announcement made on January 23 they talked about 2 new rules in the battles which was weird that they weren't there before, but thinking further I guess it was because they didn't have enough cards to carry out, these are the one about: Going the Distance: "Only monsters with ranged attack can be used" and Wands Out: "Only monsters with magical attack can be used."
In this post I will focus on the first new rule, where I will talk according to my thoughts what are the cards that we should think about having to know how to attack when we encounter it in battles.

1. Quemarropa
Creo que es indispensable tener monstruos con la habilidad quemarropa para poder armar un buen mazo en esta regla de batalla, porque bien saben que ningún monstruo sin esa habilidad o sin la regla “Close Range” pueden atacar desde primera posición, tomando en cuenta eso podemos ver que hay muchos monstruos que tienen esa habilidad.
1. Close Range
I think it is essential to have monsters with the point-blank ability to build a good deck in this battle rule, because you know that no monster without that ability or without the "Close Range" rule can attack from the first position, taking into account that we can see that there are many monsters that have that ability.

Tomando en cuenta eso, pienso que estas 2 cartas pueden ser indispensables, 1 de ellas es muy económica actualmente en el mercado (Lava Launcher) pero que además puede ser muy útil a la hora de una batalla de este estilo, mientras que la otra al ser invocador (Fernheart), le otorga a todos los monstruos con ataque a distancia la habilidad.
Taking that into account, I think that these 2 cards can be indispensable, 1 of them is very cheap at the moment in the market (Lava Launcher) but also can be very useful at the time of a battle of this style, while the other one, being a summoner (Fernheart), gives all monsters with ranged attack the ability.

2. Viento en contra
Otra que es muy eficaz a la hora de batallar con esta regla es “Headwinds”, específicamente con las cartas que la poseen teniendo también el ataque a distancia, ya que de nada serviría si poseen la habilidad, pero no podemos utilizarla.
2. Headwinds
Another one that is very effective when it comes to battle with this rule is "Headwinds", specifically with the cards that have it also having the ranged attack, since it would be useless if they have the ability, but we can not use it.

Al ser muy limitado los monstruos que podemos elegir para esto, hace que sean aún más útiles porque sabemos que no muchos contaran con ello, en primera posición coloco a la que quizás es el más accesible y para mí el más importante a la hora de encontrarnos con esta regla de batalla (Ahs Mirage) no solo porque posee la habilidad, sino que también tiene 2 de ataque de distancia y además esta económica en el mercado, mientras que la otra al ser un poco más vieja (Naga Windmaster) puede ser más complicado de conseguir, además que solo se podría utilizar en las batallas “Wild” y no en las “Modern”.
Being very limited the monsters that we can choose for this, makes them even more useful because we know that not many will count on it, in first position I place the one that is perhaps the most accessible and for me the most important when it comes to meet with this rule of battle (Ahs Mirage) not only because it has the ability, but also has 2 ranged attack and is also cheap on the market, while the other being a little older (Naga Windmaster) may be more complicated to get, plus it could only be used in the "Wild" battles and not in the "Modern".
Conclusiones Finales:
Espero que este trabajo creativo que tiene pensado los desarrolladores de Splinterland haga que el juego siga en la cima de los juegos P2E este año, quizás de una explosión de nuevos jugadores o que incluso la mayoría de las cartas suban considerablemente su precio al “obligarnos” a comprar un buen mazo.
Pienso que van por el buen camino y que nos han puesto a pensar en estrategias que puedan adaptarnos a los nuevos tiempos del juego. Hablando de esta nueva regla creo que es muy indispensable el hecho de contar con suficientes cartas para poder rendir en todas y cada una de las batallas que nos toquen enfrentar, aquí les resumí muy bien cuales creo que serán las cartas mas indispensables en este sentido, pero sabemos que habrá muchísimas combinaciones que necesitaran de otras más.
No te quedes atrás y ve armando tu mazo para poder afrontar los próximos meses que se vienen en Splinterlands.
Final Conclusions:
I hope that this creative work that the developers of Splinterland have in mind will keep the game at the top of the P2E games this year, maybe of an explosion of new players or even that most of the cards will raise considerably their price by "forcing" us to buy a good deck.
I think they are on the right track and have got us thinking about strategies that can adapt to the new times of the game. Speaking of this new rule I think it is very essential to have enough cards to be able to perform in each and every one of the battles that we have to face, here I summarized very well what I think will be the most essential cards in this regard, but we know that there will be many combinations that will need more.
Do not stay behind and start building your deck to be able to face the coming months in Splinterlands.
