Changes to the season's reward chests?
Until yesterday I had 7 reward chests pending for having reached Bronze II within the season, I could not maintain the position and now I am again in Bronze III, however I have 5 reward chests again ...
I had understood that chests are awarded depending on the maximum level reached in the season, is this so or am I confused?

They were until this season. The team at Spliterlands told that info a little while ago but they made the visual change in the game just recently. Now we get the reward from the league we've finished the season on. That is why the rental market is going crazy right now.
Ugh! That happened to me, too! I was so disappointed to see that my 7 chests were now 5. I even wrote a post about how excited I was. My very first time getting to Bronze II for a tiny bit before sliding back into Bronze III. I was so looking forward to opening my first Bronze II rewards. :-(
