Before Chaos Legion I used and liked cards with Sniper. At the moment with the free cards I think Sinpers are less useful, so I use them rarely. But Lava Spider is a low cost relatively high health card and it can be useful in some situations.

It is a common chaos legion card therefore everyone has it because it is part of the basic cards. I personally do own a copy of it at level 2, but in the battle I used a gold foil one which I rented out. As you can see in the table below it is a cheap card as a regural foil and not expensive as a gold foil. There are a lot of available copies at the moment.

Here comes the battle:

I was in silver 3 at the time of the battle. In my opinion it was a nice and joyful ruleset.

So what did I chose to do?

For Summoner: Tarsa it will increase the firendly monsters health by 1 and their melee damage by 1. Lava Spider gains only half of the benefits but still worth to bring a Sniper with Explosive Weaponry ruleset.

Monsters:

• Living Lava best (at least I think) widely available tank for Fire splinter thanks to it's Shield ability, and high health.
• Uraeus it's my own gold foil from daily quest rewards. I chose it for the gold bonus and the Sneak ability.
• Creeping Ooze I chose it to reduce the enemy team's speed thanks to Slow ability.
• Serpentine Spy it's a quite high speed card with nice damage, even nicer with Tarsa. It's Opportunity ability combined with Explosive Weaponry , Tarsa and Creeping Ooze is brutal. If it can act first it can decide the whole battle.
• Lava Spider this is a rented out gold foil I could not use it as a level 3, but the extra dec reward still worth it. I usually bring a Sniper to battles with Explosive Weaponry because backline monsters tend to have lower health.
• Tenyii Striker it cannot be left out of Fire teams in this era high damage, higher health, decent speed and Sneak ability.

Did my strategy work?

Yes, I won the battle. It was a massacre thanks to Serpentine Spy.

What will I try differently next time?

Given this ruleset I would not change my lineup. I did not think that it will be this easy.
