SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! SPINEBACK TURTLE

avatar

Hi everyone, this week's challenge is to share a Splinterlands battle with the SPINEBACK TURTLE card

SPINEBACK TURTLE STATS

SPINEBACK TURTLE is an Alpha/Beta edition monster, common rarity and Water splinter.
It is a Melee attack and low speed card. Level 1 it has 6 life and 2 armor, even at higher levels, speed is not its strongest point, but armor is with Thorns.
A common rarity monster with 4 mana in early levels stands out for its defense and at level 4 it gains thorns skill (when hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker) which makes the monster a great low cost tank.

Unfortunately I don't have the Spineback turtle card, so I had to rent it. This is a very good feature of splinterlands. You can rent out your cards to others that don't have them or need them for cp and you can rent cards from others.

Here comes the battle:

I was in bronze 1 at the time of the battle. As you can see I had a good ruleset. Spineback excels in low mana battles so I took the opportunity to use it. Fortunately I have Coral Wraith (I like it very much and using it whenever I can) and used it in the battle alongside with Pelacor Bandit and Deeplurker. For summoner I chose Kelya Frendul. It was a risky choice if my opponent would use Obsidian and a magic based party than I'm most likely on the looser side. Tank is Spineback for the second place I chose Deeplurker if Spineback dies soon than Deep can withstand some damage as well. I put Coral in second to last position to protect it from Sneak attacks and used Pelacor Bandit to defend Coral. In my opinion Coral worth more than the Bandit.

Battle results

I won the battle. I had a win streak so I got 40 points + 2.361 DEC as a reward. At the moment this is a good reward for Bronze 1, I think. Spineback Turtle proved to be a good tank, it did what it had to do. Bought time for my back line to deal with the enemy team.

Thanks for the reading, I hope you enjoyed, see you on the battlefield!
