Only Epic Summoner For Modern Future Format

In the last Town Hall the splinterlands team mentioned that they will be focusing on the wild/modern format split once the general sale has started. This causes me to look at some of the cards that could be niche or clutch. Kretch is one of those cards .....

He will be the ONLY epic summoner available in modern format, what this means is a slight edge when playing him say in bronze when rare summoners are able to play 3/2/2/1, being an epic at level 2 Kretch will be able to play 3/3/2/1. This may not seem like a huge advantage but sometimes an extra level on the rare cards can swing a battle in your favor; add in the factor that he is only 3 mana this can save you some cost, especially when summoners lose all abilities when a player can use all the mana they can get.

Currently he is under $9 and since he is a reward card he is out of print so what ever is on the market is all that there will likely be available. So if you are thinking of investing in some summoners, maybe give him a hard look it may be something that interests you.
