Pre Chaos Legion I was NEVER a fan of the fire deck and now that I have been preparing for modern format it is honestly one of my favorites now. Preparing for this format I have started aquiring various chaos legion cards in gold foil version as they are very reasonable right now; Radiated Brute being chiefly among those. I do like this card, reach is a very underated ability and this card is no exception. 5 mana for 3 damage and 6 hp (goes to 4 and 7 with Tarsa) is a heck of a deal, the speed of 2 can sometimes be an issue that's why most of the time I run the Brute in lower speed matches as a rule.

My Battle

30 Mana, Unprotected and spreading fury; Fire, Death and Dragon splinters are availiable.

My Line-Up:

Tarsa: Plus to HP and Damage for Melee
Exploding Rats: VERY fast with blast damage, using as a yolo blast
Antoid Platoon: Primary tank because of the shield ability
Radiated Brute: Secondary tank with reach damage
Serpentine Spy: Opportunity Attacker
Tenyii Striker: Sneak Attacker
Uraeus: Sneak Attacker

So Since there is no armor, uraeus won't be able to take as many hits as he normally can, my plan is that the explodng rats with do one hit with some blast to weaken the first two units before dying and then hoping mt tanks hold while I destroy the lineup from the back forward.

Seeing my opponents monsters drop it could be interesting as the front Tusk the Wide is a REALLY big meat shield, but they did go with a slower lineup witch could work in my favor.

Round 2

At this point I have managed to regain the speed debuff and kill off the fiend as well as severely damage the tusk. But have also lost the Uraeus and the Exploding Rats (which I expected) so far the plan is holding but does look promissing because most of my units are either faster or will take a hit and become faster.

Round 3

Success, they are down to just the sandworm and I have three units standing that are faster so this is a lock.

In Conclusion

This went exactly as planned and the Radiated Brute even made it through to the end as my tank. This card is an amazing addition to your splinterlands decks and I think everybody should add this card as it won't be in the starter deck forever.
