Weekly Battle Challenge with Goblin Psychic
I am a big fan of this card. I was always a fan of the water nymph for earth as well, but to me this card brings so much more utility. Yes it's more mana, but has more hp for survivability and gets the affliction abilty while still in silver, this is amazing.
Granted i'm not as excited about the dispel for max level, but the silence starting in gold again just boost the utility of this card so far ahead of many others.
My Battle:
Heals Out, No Neutrals; 15 mana with earth, water, death and dragon available. I was expecting a chwala play so decided I would go with a magic play so that I wouldn't have to worry about the thorns if they did.
I was not disappointed, I got to see Quix the Devious and the Chwala, Pelicore Bandit bringing up the rear.
My Team:
Obsidian - Magic boost
Mycellic Morphoid - Meat Shield with thorns
Failed Summoner - Meat shield with reflect
Fungus Fiend - Meat Shield
Goblin Psychic - Damage Dealer
Khmer Princess - Damage Dealer
Yes I realized that heals are out but with the cards i have I felt that Goblin Psychic still made the best choice for me with this mana cost since there was a nice damage to hp ratio when comparing my cards that were the options at the time.
Round 2
I knew the first round was going to be a bit rough since Chwala is so very meaty. I knew that the morphoid was a sacrifice unit, and the princess can only take 2 hits from a chwala so my monsters need to really put in some work; still I have a very positive feeling going forward into round 3, like excited/nervous butterflies ..... Did I make the right call......
Round 3
With a sigh of relief, i can see that all of my enemy units will be dead within 2 rounds, and it would take them 3 to accomplish the same thing to me (if none of their units died right now). Yes I made the right call, just enough damage and meatyness .... walked the narrow line and pulled it off.

This monster is a valuable piece in the arsenal, as you can see even with it's abilities neutralized it still presents as a formidable damage dealer especially when coupled with the obsidian magic boost. Going forward once we get split into modern and wild formats I anticipate this card to be highly sought after.
