First Gold Foiled Legendary Card! YAY!!!! ~~~~

Hi Everyone,

I'm sure many of you have seen the new changes to Splinterlands which I was planning to write about today but I have to share the below today before I don't have another chance.

I see people getting gold foiled legendary cards and playing the game for a year I always think to myself, when is it my turn? When will it be the day I get that chance to flip one ..... just one! This happened last night unexpectedly ....

Finished my daily quest and started opening the cards. One by one I open them up and this very card started shaking ..... boom Sacred Unicorn came up. Kind disappointed it was the "rice cooker" aka Lord Arianthus, I continued clicking quickly only to see the corner of my eye that my legendary card turned GOLLDDDDDD. I stopped all activities and stared at the card for 5 seconds just to make sure! Yeppppp thats it!!!

Fist pump, hands up I did everything but quietly as the kids were asleep. I quickly got onto our CN telegram and wechat group to let them know of this find and they celebrated as they knew I was waiting for so long. What a great way to start the weekend!

Can totally understand how you are feeling at that moment!! After the shaking it takes abt 0.5 seconds before the card slowly turn gold, and you stop doing everything and just stare at it. Hahaha

It’s so exciting to get a gold foil legendary. I was jumping and running around the house. My family thought I was crazy.

You won this card after playing one year? I think everyone knows the feeling of waiting and hoping! I'm also looking forward to win one gold legendary card during my Daily Quests or Season Rewards. Now I know it might be my turn one day (still not playing a full year so plenty of time left)!🤩
