Introducing our contenders for this bout!

Towering over others...Existed before the Splintering...The restless giants who linger within the caves of Crystal Peak...The Clay Golem. Known for their almost-indestructible and anti-magic structure, these creatures are best put on the frontlines of the battlefield. Absorbing both physical and magic attacks, these creatures can easily hold the line! However, their mobility would limit their use in the battlefield. Not very useful for a constantly charging Silver Shield Cavalry, eh? But don't let that speed fool you as the Clay Golem sure packs a punch! Reminds me of Clay Face from DC Comics.

From the burning ashes, rises a spawn of rage and power. Born out of pure power of the Forgotten One, their burning trails would scorch mountains, valleys, villages, and fields as they slither in search of their creator. Said to wield an enormous sword sculpt and formed by hard magma from its own mana, these creatures would easily overpower foes and keep attackers at a distance due to the immense heat emanating from the cracks of its body. These creatures would be useful for ravaging the food supplies of enemies by leaving their fields covered in molten ash, barren....and unable to support life.

So, who would win amongst these 2 giants? 3...2...1! Hajime! As the Clay Golem walks towards the Molten Ash Golem, clay bullets would fire from its body. However, these bullets would only melt upon contact due to the heat of magma from Molten Ash Golem's body. To prevent the advance of the fiery golem, the Clay Golem extends one of its arms to push back his adversary, and, with the other arm formed like a hammer, smashes the Molten Ash Golem directly above its head.

Retracting its arms, thinking that the adversary was done for, a deep voice echoed, "My master awaits. None shall get in my way." The Molten Ash Golem lets out a deep and heavy roar while releasing steam out of the cracks on its surface. The Clay Golem loses no time and rushes towards its foe. This time, pushing its heavy mass of the ground, it goes airborne and drops his entire weight on its opponent, crushing and covering the Molten Ash Golem with heavy clay.

Thinking it had extinguished the flames of its enemy, it lets out a roar as a sign of victory. However, its body began glowing red...and soon...its body slowly hardened. It tried to get away, but half of its mass had already solidified due to the immense heat. It detached half of its mass, and tried to get away from what was seemingly about to explode. The other half of its mass which was left behind hardened, became brittle, cracked, and shattered to pieces. The Molten Ash Golem had broken its adversary's arsenals. All what's left of the Clay Golem was a little less than an eighth of what it was.

The Molten Ash Golem drew a huge sword made from magma from its bosom, and before it dealt the final blow to its weakened opponent, it uttered "None shall delay my return to my Maker..." The weight and heat intensity of the magma blade obliterated the Clay Golem into scattered pieces of burnt clay.

The Molten Ash Golem continued its way to meet its Maker, The Forgotten One.

And there you have it! My first Splinterlore VERSUS match-up! Let me know what you think in the comments below! Thank you!
