RE: Planes of Existence - Splinterlore

Splinterlore is advancing well and is quite interesting, but to catch eyes with cool stories nowadays, plain text won't be enough.

I'm not expecting some cool videos or animations off the bat, but at least more images to paint the picture a bit better would at least help to get me hooked on Splinterlore.

Right now I have no clue what's going on, because I read only like 10% of the Splinterlore posts.
It's not even that I'm not interested, I'm super interested in this, but for some reason I just don't get hooked and don't get enough joy out of the Lore.

I've mentioned it before, but AFK Arena (A Mobile game, not even anything to do with crypto) do it really well, I'm super hooked on their lore and I even stopped playing the game a while back.

And it's not that I only watch their videos, I read the ingame lore books that they have for each hero (Similar to how Splinterlands monsters have a "Lore" page).

Could be cause they are videos. Most people find video to be more engaging than text!

As I said in my reply, I also read all of the hero books in-game.

I didn't mention though that I actually first read the in-game books of Lores of all the Heroes and then later I discovered they have a YT channel with animations too.

EDIT:

Also this is awesome, why don't we got more stuff like this from Splinterlands

I would say Splinterlands has a cool lore but I'm also the same. I'm not a book guy so if there would be videos of this, I definitely would watch that.

It's same as I watch animes but don't read the mangas. That's why I am always proposing for Splinterlands to make an anime series even just 12 episodes or maybe even 8 episodes so that non-Splinterlands players may also get hooked.

For example, a lot of non-league of legends players "tried" league when Arcane went out. Unfortunately, since the anime and the game are vastly different, a lot did not stick to play.

Once I get a new laptop (sometime this year), I'll start doing art stuff again, probably on the animation side then try and edit that into the game.

Imagine the Yugioh Duel Link summon animation when they summon Blue eyes white dragon or exodia? But for Splinterlands, I'm planning something like a kill animation for the monster's last hits.

Hopefully, I could get a new rig by May. My plan would be awesome and I'd love it if Splinterlands could/would incorporate that in the game.
