Steemmonsters Nostalgia Pt.2 (tsnaks special)

I found some more, even older and better, screenshots of the Steemmonsters times. It took quite a while to find these, so I hope you enjoy seeing some more from the past of the game we all know and love #Steemmonsters #Splinterlands.

These are all my blog posts from the past, hence the "tsnaks special".
I will be using the same format as I did in the First nostalgia post, which you should check out before this post.

Ok enough of that, let's get to it.

Sorry that this image has the pricetag edited over it, but it's also cool to see that I was trying to sell a Lightning dragon (Alpha) for 15 Steem only.

Also back then Gold Foil edition cards did not exist yet, so this is just a regular foil lightning dragon, not gold foil. At the time all of the 4 dragons had golden cards, only after gold foils were introduced to the game they inherited their purple look.

At this point in time, only Alpha cards existed.
This is a view from the collection page at the time.
I also suggest opening this post up as it contains 5 more screenshots of my collection at the time. (The lightning dragon is already purple here, which means the Gold foils were introduced between June and July of 2018).

Apparently I had just won a giveaway of Alpha Frost Giant :)

The battle screen used to have so much more characteristics in the olden days. I mean look how the Fire summoner has it's fire side and Earth summoner has it's earth side so their used monsters would fit better into the battlefield.
Also I know I've said this before, but I really really liked the FONTS they were using back then.

Heyy, the quests were added to the game it seems like.
We got a crumbly and scrolled up piece of paper that gave us our quest details to receive our rewards in the form of booster packs.

Again, the battle screen had so much characteristics, it looked so beautiful.
And just the overall feel of the game was more cartoonish and game like.

That's when the first Reward edition cards were added to the game.
Pretty wild, how far we have come with this concept. To a point where we have Soulbound reward cards.

This has been part 2 of my Nostalgia run, it will probably stay the last post for a while I make about nostalgic stuff about Steemmonsters/Splinterlands, unless it gets a ton of support and you guys want me to search for more old stuff.

Searching old post can be a task.
I think the price tag adds to the image, it was clever way to advertise your sale.

Yeah finding old posts definitely isn't easy.

If I remember I didn't manage to sell it at the time, but someone offered me a GF Lynna natura for it and I took that deal. Still have that GF Lynna natura to this day :D
