How to determine Collection Power

Here are some questions ask by a newbie in the game regarding collection power.
"What card gives 15k power?"
"Can this common gold foil give 100k power?"
"How many cards need to get 10k power?"
To answer those questions let's find out what is collection power
What is Collection power? based on Splinterlands "Collection Power (CP) is the total DEC value of all playable cards in your collection that are owned by you (or rented to you), and are not rented out to another player or listed for sale on the market. Along with Rating, determines your League Tier."
Why collection power is important? Collection power is important because this is to determine you the highest league possible you will get. Rating is not enough to advance you to the next leagues you must qualify also the collection power need.

How it is Determined?
Collection power depends on the following card characteristics:
1. BSX (Base card Experience) - It indicates the number of individual cards that have been combined together to make up this card.
2. Card Type - Regular and Gold Foil
3. Card edition - alpha, beta, promo, untamed, dice, reward, and gladius
4. Card Rarity - common, rare, epic, and legendary

Here is a handy chart in determining the DEC burn value for different types of cards. Also, you can check in the chart the power given by the card (DEC Value = Collection Power)
