It's because the less-plausible ones leave very few avenues to continue the conversation, other than 'OK', or something similar.
A node, no matter the flavor, should be easy an simple to run, and one should be able to do so on mediocre hardware. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Do you mean that if a node is hard to run and maintain, then it usually is not worth it to run !INDEED? 🤯🤓

savvyplayer, you mined 0.9 🟧 HBIT and the user you replied to (tydynrain) received 0.1 HBIT on your behalf as a tip. You can receive 100% of the HBIT by replying to one of your own posts or comments. When you mine HBIT, you're also playing the Wusang: Isle of Blaq game. 🏴☠️ | tools | wallet | discord | community | daily <><
What's more, you found 1.0 ⚪ BLAQ pearl as a bonus treasure token!
Your random number was 0.14616308090248598, also viewable in the Discord server, #hbit-wusang-log channel. Check for bonus treasure tokens by entering your username at block explorer A, explorer B, or take a look at your wallet.
There is a treasure chest of bitcoin sats hidden in Wusang: Isle of Blaq. Happy treasure hunting! 😃 Read about Hivebits (HBIT) or read the story of Wusang: Isle of Blaq.
From my perspective, correct, as it shows poor software implementation. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

@savvytester took note that it is barely enough to pay $5 per month for a VPS to run a #Honeycomb node, so running a node for the DLUX, DUAT, and SPK networks requires more than one $5/month VPS. 💸🤯😅

For true decentralization, it's necessary to run our own nodes, like with Qortal. Hosting on off-site services is not something that I'd ever recommend. I wish Hive were as decentralized. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

@savvytester knew that servers that are locally run are necessary for decentralization, though they just pointed out that running $5-per-month VPS instances (their specs in particular) are barely enough to run any #Honeycomb node !INDEED, not that they plan to host such nodes indefinitely (while the respective network is still up) on rented servers. 🤯🤓

I understand, he's a tester, so he tests, then moves along to the next thing to test. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Ever since all the #Honeycomb networks (DUAT, DLUX, and SPK) started having major technical issues that caused prolonged network-wide downtime, @savvytester started to get discouraged in testing nodes for the respective networks. 🤯 Even if for some reason they get "free" VPS hosting, they no longer found it worth the time to host such nodes. 🤯

For wider adoption, running nodes needs to be simple and easy. Running a Qortal node is very easy, and it's getting easier all the time. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

While it is already apparent (at least for me and @savvytester) that running a #Qortal node is (very) easy, there also comes the requirement to have a spare computer running 24/7 which requires additional electrical energy, network bandwidth, and replacement for components when necessary !INDEED. 🧘♂️🤯🤓

Yep, that's true, and it's par for the course with creating an running technological infrastructure and services over time. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
