Best play to earn games discussion

This is a discussion post to try to find the best play to earn games currently out. Currently splinterlands has my vote for #1.

Dragonary, this is one that's not on the hive chain, but I bought into it when they did their first offering, I was very hopeful for their future but the more time that has passed the less faith I have had as there's really not much to it.

Those two is as far as I've gone in terms or play to earn games other than upland which I'm not sure I fully understand, I do play some others like dungeon swap, and crypto blades. But paying a fee on every move is really a bit of a silly concept since a majority of your earnings are eaten up with fees.

So let's hear it, your favorite play to earn game and why? Thanks in advance. Hopefully others new to play to earn games can benefit from this thread.
